Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

I don't feel in the slightest sorry for Kirsty as the writers' intentions have worked on me to the point I feel no sympathy for her whatever - I'm LONGING for her unmasking, for righteous Eileen and Julie's jaws to drop, for Tyrone to be vindicated. But he is getting on my nerves a bit tis true: why oh why in soaps do characters suddenly go completely round the bend 'uh-oh got a bit of a problem, I know! I'll have to commit a murder/abduct a child/embezzle £10,000 from my boss! That'll sort it!'

Never forgotten Fizz being won round by John Stape to the daft identity-theft idea - he says 'Oh Fizz I have had this great idea, I will pretend I'm another man and go and teach in a school using his name,' and Fizz looks at him with great big eyes and she says...

"Well... I guess so.... after all, what could possibly go wrong?"

Can fuzz and big Hope be killed off on the corrie fire please. Oh and Mandy queen of headbands, and poker face Jenna go too. Ta muchly.

Arf at Mandy queen of headbands I think it was a bad idea to get Ty and Fuzz together in the first place but I can see that it was a plot device to get sympathy from the other characters for Kirsty, an create the wedding showdown. It's was a wasted opportunity to deal with the whole DV storyline, they just made it too over dramatic and overblown. I wonder if Peter and Carla's attitude will start to spread to other characters who aren't right in the middle of the storyline?

Is this going to be a spoiler free thread? I quite like a bit of Corry gosip, but only non-spoiler stuff! Someone said a while back on another, supposedly non-spoiler, thread that F&T run away with the kids and I hate knowing what's coming up! (the stories drag on long enough without knowing in advance!!).

I love Ty - I just want to hug him! I love Fiz too - she has a heart of gold.

I hope the truth comes out soon.

I liked how well they did Mandy's reaction to Jenna 'coming out' - it was good. (If horrible for Jenna)

I loved Mandys response to Jenna. I was at her saying "I just want you to be normal". Madness.

Tirrone has habdled this alllll wrong. Theyve took a plausible and important topic and turned it farcical.

Gail is, for once, making ne laugh with her "Im just a lodger" routine.

I'm intrigued at the Carla and Peter angle. Carla's such a cow it will be amazing to see if she uses her nastiness in a positive way to help Fiz and Ty. If you think about it, she's about the only one who could dominate the ghastly Kirsty.

I can't stand fizz, the dv story was very good up until the affair, it changed the angle of the characters.

The problem with corrie is they focus on one story line and don't really have anything really going on.

I mean there's the debt one, the faye dad and Gail and David.

Gail is such a bad actress it shocking that she's got away with for so long.

I think Mary needs a good solid storyline

Gail's acting is Oscars-standard compared to Ken's .

I'm getting right fed up with the Ty storyline, hurry up & resolve it please. Gail is a dreadful actress, and David keeps pulling them nasty faces he looks evil.

I liked how Peter supported Tyrone. Surprised Hayley isn't shown being more obviously supportive of Fiz.
Like everyone else, I'm now spending every episode wishing they'd get on with Kirsty's unmasking.

Foot face I agree. The fuzz affair really spoilt what was a good fb storyline.

I am chuckling at Gail's lodger routine. Good for her. Can't stand kylie. She is a vile character and when will they reveal she was a key part of Lewis's plan? Probably over Xmas dinner.

My worst actor award would be split between sawphie, ty, Jenna.

Dev is a terrible actor, particularly when Sunita was leaving him and he was crying And talking about actors crying...there was not one tear in Gail's eye when she was crying over Lewis.....Is it physically possible to cry without tears, or is she just seriously dehydrated?

Does anyone know WHEN this bloody Kirsty and Ty story going to FINALLY end? Please no spoilers, I don't want to know how it's going to end, just when.

Marking place for when I have more time, esp to come on and vent about how much I dislike Faye. Am I very bad?? If I was Anna I'd be handing her straight back to the dad.

Painted I read on digital spy that it'll be ending 'within the month', no idea how accurate that is though.

Just heard Kevin is not appearing in any more episodes until his RL issues are sorted out.. I hope theyve recorded kev's version of tyrones defence first!

will be waiting to see just how hard the corrie editors have worked overnight. must be a nightmare for them esp as so many of his scenes involve kids.
