Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

The whole fire story is stupid. Stupid that Karl gets away with it. Stupid that Owen starts work before insurance approve extent of work covered. Stupid that st Ella and glo are now better dressed than before and that st Ella is wearing the same shoes she always wore.

It's also odd that Gail has completely forgiven/forgotten that kylie slept with nick. She's acting way too excited about the baby.

I have to stop myself screaming at the tv whenever Gary is being nicey nicey with Tina. He gives me the boak. Gary v Tommy.....no contest really. Tina's hormones must be all over the shop if she even remotely fancies Gary back, but she looks like she's wavering.....

Mind you, Izzy'd drive me a bit potty, so no wonder Gary is sniffing about Tina.

Tommy is lovely, you're right, Tina is off her rocker if she passes him over for bloody Gary, Feel so sorry for Izzy though, she does a good line in looking wan well, as much as she can with a frozen forehead.

Very well spotted whatkungfuthat re the clothes - I definitely remember Gloria wearing her tunics layered with long sleeved tops combos, and that long necklace, and that brown zebra printed coat with no collar before the fire, but I hadn't even given a thought as to how they were miraculously protected from the flames. Makes you wonder how the scriptwriters would explain it if challenged.

Nick pulled her up because she was bitching that David should not be allowed to care for children, as he'd just had an epileptic fit. She really snidely said something along the lines of don't think you're perfect, I know all about you and Kylie - and then emphasised again exactly what she was referring to. Some friend to Gail!

Yes Sally is such a judgemental cow. Perhaps something should be written into the plot to see her get a taste of her own medicine.

David was diagnosed with epilepsy a few years ago after a car accident. I think he'd been accused of reckless driving or something, but proved in court, with medical evidence, that he'd actually blacked out during a fit.

The good thing about the pub burning down is that we don't have to suffer Lloyd's mother girlfriend at the moment. Although I expect her to turn up and get a job at the Bistro any time. Not much of Jenna either which is an added bonus.

We were discussing here (or on the other thread) about how Owen and Gary had changed from nasty to nice. Good to see that the scriptwriters had noted what we said and have them showing their true colours again.

I reckon Karl will be found out soon enough and the insurance will pay out then and Owen will be back building the pub...they must be sick looking at the bistro....Id say it won't be too long before Faye is back with Anna

Just caught up on Fridays episodes- thought they were on good form Rita telling Cheney where the comics where and Sylvia both made me laugh. Liked evil Sally only letdown is constant Anna/Owen I couldn't care less bore off
