Have started a new thread as the old one won't accept my message. So I'll repost it here:

Fuzz has form for being beyond thick. Remember the whole stape thing? Her character is just incredibly stupid. You'd think she would learn her lesson. Running away 'on a fishing boat' with £200 is like a story from a 16th century novel.

Re the abduction I think they were wrong. Lots of mums keeps kids from fathers for all manner of selfish reasons and abduction is not the answer. However I do think ty was desperate. But why won't he just let the court decide ffs. He's got loads of evidence. I'm getting to the point in this story where I'm actually ready to punch him myself! In fact have felt a tiny bit sorry for k when they stole ruby. Surely the writers can't have intended for this to happen? God knows. Im away next week so hopefully I'll miss the stupid court stuff and be back for some proper corrie storylines.

I liked the casino episode, one of those one off mini stories that make Corrie so great - also with the reference back to Alec Gilroy maybe they are listening to us obsessive mumsnetters re the backstory

He was saying to Faye "Your Mum and I"....... like they were a couple (potential there?)
Maybe she'll kick Owen into touch? It's a bit of an uneasy relationship with her Gary/his Izzie .
But Owen is an arse no mistake.

Re Kev if he's found guilty then he'll be written out (as opposed to just disappearing while actor is on trial). So my plan is that Soph and Jenna bring up baby Jack.

Haven't seen tonight's yet, but was quite moved by Roy and his mum on Weds, however implausible the whole Milton thing is, it was a good dialogue instead of all the quickfire bitty scenes that seem to be the norm now.
I agree that Faye seems far too old for primary school, I thought she was about 11 when she first artived which must have been a couple of years ago. Anna should kick Owen into touch, nasty bully that he is.

Last thing I heard, Faye is 10! I'm sure Anna said that to Faye when they were walking down the street at some point recently!

I think Roy is great! How he resists Using his talents is beyond me.

I heard there isn't anything sinister about Tim but I can't help thinking he looks evil. Maybe the story is he'll whisk Anna off and Owen will get his cumuppance

I thought they may get Anna and Tim together too after last night's eps. It would be lazy writing but how much more of a wrong 'un can he be that Scrappy Owen? Izzy mentioned her mum last night so that could be a potential new storyline at some point.

Loved Roy in the casino, although Syliva isn't as good this time. I'm guessing that for now they won't do anything about Kevin and Jack , just not mention them. Some characters aren't seen for what seems like months.

I can't take Fizz seriously. She looks nice until she smiles and reveals those teeth like a row of shattered headstones. Also the baby voice? She doesn't talk in that affected way in real life.

Also now I know that Owen the builder is the voice of King Thistle from B&H I can't take him seriously either.

Mandy. Mandy, Mandy, Mandy... with your growly voice and butch manner. Your habit of sticking your snout in to folks business. The way you judge your child for not being honest after you lied about her father. Please discover you have family in Spain or Jamaica that need urgent care. Live with them. Please.

Count you are hilarious. Yes fuzz has terrible teeth hasn't she? It's v distracting. Wouldn't it be great if Mandy had to run off to Spain. In a hurry. And Jenna had to follow her there. Terrible characters. We don't even know much about them and I can't warm to them at all. Owen is vile and I really dislike Anna at the moment too.

Like I said earlier, who the actual fuck would be daft enough to adopt Faye?!

Anna's just scared that Faye's real dad will find out that Owen slapped her last year. Wasn't Maria supposed to be Fiz's bezzie mate? She shacks up with a gay fella. Not a peep. Fiz shacks up with her ex and helps him steal his baby. Not a peep.
