BarStoolCobra · 24/03/2009 13:54

too many women seem to have boobs pointing south, or four of them.

then LOOK AT YOUR REAR VIEW

have you a fat back rippling out from underneath it?
if so please get a bigger bra.

ithankyou

I don't suck up to anyone, in case this is being implied.

I answer/take hits at whatever the hell I like.

BitOfFun · 26/03/2009 19:13

Come and suck up to me on the giving birth thread in AIBU though...I am being maligned

AnyFucker · 26/03/2009 19:20

BOF, only just in from work

having trouble catching up........

and pesky kids want to be fed

how very dare they??

PinkTulips · 26/03/2009 19:42

bit nasty to openly out cod whatever you may think of her if you know the reason she left

we didn't exactly stay on the topic of four boobed idiots for long anyway, if you'd bother to read through you'd see it's a lovely thread where some very kind women have been helping the rest of us sort our manky ill fitting bra issues

AnyFucker · 26/03/2009 20:16

yes, I have felt the luuurrve on this thread

I feel less {sad} about my shoite boobs

Vamonos · 26/03/2009 21:28

It has indeed been a very helpful thread to those of us that are sad of boob - big thank you to the bra-meisters!

But lol at 'outing' - bit like proclaiming that David Walliams is 'not a real laydee, stupid'.

TrillianAstra · 27/03/2009 00:53

Methinks someone is jealous because they:

a) don't have good bras
or
b) don't get 11 pages when they start a thread

PinkTulips · 27/03/2009 10:40

well i hadn't noticed til someone on page one hinted at it and i've been here 4 years

TrillianAstra · 27/03/2009 10:47

But there was only a bit of (very unsubtle) hinting on page 1 and then everyone just got on with talking about bras. It's not as if anyone was actually interested in who the OP may or may not be (or in fact in what the OP had to say particularly).

piratecat · 27/03/2009 10:59

i swear i've misssed something. oh well. how's everyones bras today then!!

Eyeballsinthesky · 27/03/2009 11:04

I tried all the various suggestions here as I can't possibly be a G cup so went into M&S yesterday and bought a 40F instead of a 38G and it fits luverly. It's the small things (which my baps aren't). Now must just get brave enough to go to Bravissimo one night after work.

Eyeballsinthesky · 27/03/2009 11:07

Oh are we not talking about boobies any more? Here was I delighted at being pulled back from the G cup precipice...

TrillianAstra · 27/03/2009 11:16

We are talking about boobies, someone popped up for a bit accusing us of fawning over the OP (who may or may not be Cod, as if we care), but I think they've goen now.

I went shopping yesterday, discovered that I can fit either a 34B or a 32C (excitement at the C!), but also discovered that there weren't any bras on sale that I wanted enough to actually buy them.

PinkTulips · 27/03/2009 11:29

am about to order a 34F as i can't quite believe G cup and my 38D fit well on the cup so that would be a 34F right?

TrillianAstra · 27/03/2009 11:49

Up two cup sizes, down two back sizes. Sounds about right.

JustKeepSwimming · 27/03/2009 12:15

I had to take back some of the 32Cs i'd bought as they were too big (half fit, half didn't) - so realised i will have to try on any new style/brand i buy until i learn which size i am in each one.
eg. M&S 32C t-shirt style ones = perfect
M&S 32C 'just material, no 'structure'' ones = nope!
Sloggi 32C = too big, 32B = perfect
etc.

Turns out i can't wear the unstructured ones anymore - not sure what to call them, 'original' style?
t-shirt ones are fab and balcony ones are good too.

anyway, went in and tried on a few (much to ds2's disgust!) and got a mixture of 32Bs and 32Cs.
Also ordered some from La Senza online - have far too many now, lol.
some very nice sets - i prefer sets though some other mums thought i was mad when i said that the other day - what do you all do?

Eyeballsinthesky · 27/03/2009 12:49

So could I go from a 38G to a 46C? I'd love to be a C, don't think I've been that since I was about 13!

I am joking btw about the 46C but it's a nice idea

blithedance · 27/03/2009 13:04

Piratecat - your question from the other page. IME most of the decent quality bra's even if they look fragile and lacy, do have very good structure around the underwiring and straps and yes, (surreptitiously checks) a little fine bit of tape inside the top of the cup so it doesn't stretch. I don't own either of those pretty sets, if only!

Nontoxic · 27/03/2009 17:15

I own a couple of 'sets ,' but I don't like the fact that they are always made out of nylony stuff, same as the bra, whereas I like cotton next to my nether regions.

TrillianAstra · 27/03/2009 17:18

I attempt to wear vaguely matching undies, I have 5-packs from M&S in white and black and try to wear the correct colour depending on colour of bra. I also have proper sets and non-matching but colour-coordinated things.

JustKeepSwimming · 27/03/2009 18:21

in theory eyeballs i guess
but if your chest is 38 then a 46 would hang off you.

some of the sets i've got have cotton knickers - m&s ones mostly.

cyteen · 13/04/2009 11:43

sorry to bump an old thread - actually, no i'm not since it's so useful - but was wondering of any of the resident bra experts can help me out? just measured myself as per instrucytions and got 32 chest/38 nork. does this make me a 32F? (EEEEEK if so)

also, am bf at the moment but will be stopping, um, sometime in the future. my boobs likely to change size when that happens, aren't they?

AbleSister · 13/04/2009 14:26

what are you wanting?

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 13/04/2009 14:44

cyteen - I can't remember how the sizing works as I get someone else to do it for me. :lazy

As for changing size after bf, probably yes, certainly they will lose some of their fullness but if you bf for a long, long time then you may not notice the change as it will be so gradual.

Ergo, you will need to measure your norks on a regular basis.

To OP: I am not guilty of fat back.

JaquelinehydeAllTheEggs · 13/04/2009 14:55

I have a fat back but then I'm fat so no bra on this land is going to change that.

Why don't you all just laugh at me now, get it out the way. I could round up a few other fatties too if it would help you feel better.
