Trainers for A/w - what are you wearing?

I am so over this heat and v much looking forward to packing my sandals away until next year!
On that note, I’m looking to upgrade my everyday trainers and never quite know what’s currently trendy and comfy.
Are colours still in, or are we heading back towards neutrals? Not really a fan of anything too bold, but I do like richer autumnal tones burgundy, chocolate brown, dark green etc.
What are you all planning to wear this A/W? Any particular trainers you’d recommend? Would love some inspo!

I’ve been wearing slim Mexico 66 Onitsuka Tiger for the past couple of years in light colours. I asked my husband to get me these navy ones from Japan when he went earlier this year to wear with darker jeans for winter. I’ll continue to wear my leopard Adidas SL72s too.

How good are the Palermos in the rain please? I’ve been tempted to get a pair but will probably avoid if rain goes through easily.

I'm not sure! Mine are both suede so I try and avoid rain. I did get wet in Dublin in my blue pair and didn't notice wet feet but they're not waterproof (same with most trainers as they'd need taped seams etc).

Some great inspiration on this thread-I need to purchase at least one pair of trainers this autumn and fancy burgundy.

I have ‘awkward’ feet so they need to be wide and comfy - current faves (comfortable & vaguely fashionable) are my pink NB’s & leopard print Fit Flop
trainers - always get comments on the

Love the look of the moon shoes but fear they’ll be too narrow. Was
looking at the brown Hoff’s on the JL website-they’ve had good feedback on here I think.

They only have a very thin bit of support though, I have older feet with high arches and I need more support than you get in these. I still wear them because they are so cute but they’re not the comfyiest.

Can anyone with Salomons say what sizing is like? From Googling they seem to run a little small? I live in the Highlands so they would be practical for winter and easy to wear with leggings and puffer at the weekend 😆

I have some Salomon Alphacross trail shoes. I have my normal size and they fit fine, but I’ll will admit that another half size would probably better. They’re not uncomfortable or tight, but I have to wear my thinner socks.

They are fine for wide feet, they’re very comfortable and they also have a bit of give as they’re soft.

The only thing I’m not keen on is the flap at the heel, any time I’ve had them it’s always sticking up and just ruins the look of them to me.

I found hoff to be a bit narrow (the parks anyway)

I love the look of these so I googled and it turns out they are barefoot shoes. I didn’t get along with vivo barefoot at all so just wondering how comfy these are and do they feel barefoot (no cushioning)?

also for anyone who has flower mountain are they comfortable? I love the look of them but they are ££ so I would need to wear them everywhere and I walk a lot!

My flower mountains are my most comfortable shoes ever. Mine are Goretex with vibram soles. They were expensive but worth it. Easy to walk 20,000 steps a day in them.
