Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

@Growlybear83 where did you buy it from last year? I really like Korres and was looking out for it last year but it never seemed to appear on the UK site. Gave up and got others in the end.

Cult Beauty Waitlist and first look at BAC packaging design. It's pretty in a whimsical way but I'm a little underwhelmed.

I like the design, I think it's very cute and pretty, and would look good on my dining table (aka the advent calendar display table). I also like that they're actually going more Christmassy this year. I'm actually going to sign up to this waitlist, because if I remember rightly, they do send you weekly content reveals. Or were meant to, but I'm not sure it fully went to plan last year 🤣

@JoRaRaRa it reminds me of wallpaper in my childhood home. I think that's what it is. I don't dislike it, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

I've signed up even though I've pre-ordered Liberty. I usually discount CB because I don't like the box, but this is pretty. I have to like the box and the contents!

I get what you mean, it is quite wallpapery and not how you imagine CB at all. They're usually bright colours and bold patterns. This is very different to any of their other acs they've done.

ETA Does anyone remember when they launched last year? I’m desperate to know contents of more before I finally decide whether to buy Harrods BAC

I had CB last year, and on reflection while I liked it and was happy to have it at the time. I found they just bulked up some drawers with multiple mini products just to say it's got 35 items in. Don't get me wrong, it's different for everyone and some would prefer that, but I don't want 15 mini items just for the sake of it 🤷‍♀️ I didn't enjoy it as much as SNK, so unless it's better than SNK this year, I won't be bothering.

I quite like the look of the CB calendar, it looks quite classy and understated to me...although it does give off wallpaper vibes. It's taking me back decades to having to wrap my school exercise book in wallpaper (why was that ever a thing?) 😂

I like that there is a benefit to signing up early.

Oh my, I remember that too! Were the exercise books that precious? Or was it something to fill the curriculum 🤣

Thanks @OvaHere for the CB link. I have signed up on the waitlist, although last year I didn’t have any of the reveals even after signing up. Hopefully this year will be different.

I hope we get some more reveals soon or even a few teasers. I am getting impatient! 😆

Oh wow, that’s a change in style for CB. It’s usually bright pink or purple. This looks like the Nana’s version of CB. Now intrigued to see whether they’ve changed the type of products they put in it…

Another fan of the CB box. Looks much more elegant than their previous offerings. I hope that transfers to the contents too.

@JustWhatIAlwaysWanted I think I bought it from the Korres website, but I can’t find a record of my payment so cant be sure. But I seem to remember that it was only available for a very short time.

I wouldn't mind more teasers but no full reveals just yet. Harrods felt wayyy too fast.

I remember CB being really annoying last year, releasing a couple of items a week or something. I want it all at once and NOW! 😂

It did seem a lot earlier than last year. I am sure we just got a few spoilers and then didn’t find out full contents until it was released for preorder. I would like a few teasers just to compare the competition.
I think the teasers and reveals will come thick and fast in August.

Yep, I don't mind a few teasers. I've got a few I want to see and compare before ordering Harrods. I think I was able to decide on Harrods last year before CB did their full reveal.
