Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

I don't know how well this will work out but thanks in advance to everyone who helps out.

There's a number of others with waitlists open and it's been announced that the 3 Harrods calendars are coming soon.

Really pleased with this and preordered with my credit straight away. I love recieving high end beauty that I would never splurge on. Excited for the eye cream- different to the one in the Harrods calendar last year and verry expensive. The Sisley lotion sounds lovely and the Ilia mascara is my HG so a no brainer for me. I love the mix of skin, perfume, body and makeup. I think I will use everything other than the hair products 🙌

Did anyone who got the SNK advent figure out how to use that hairpin from last year? I think mine's stuffed in a drawer somewhere, never to be seen again😂🙈

There are some good YouTube videos, I watched some and use the hairpin from Vogue on a regular basis and great for my work bag and I look more put together than just using a hair tie

I got it but sold it on Vinted. Whilst I was waiting for it to sell I did consider whether I may actually use it; I presume you twist your hair (ie in a bun) and then use the pin at the top of it to press down and keep in place. I could be completely wrong though.

I love it - I do have to use two at a time though as my hair is quite long, I twist my hair then stick one near the bottom in one side and one higher up on the other. Much better than a claw clip if you're driving and classier than a bobble 😅

I'm wondering if people have any particular products they're looking out for or hoping will be in advent calendars this year? I'd jump at one with a mix of these in!

• K18 airwash, my holy grail and I'd probably end up buying 10 of whatever calendar it was in 🤷🏻‍♀️
• Prequel half and half moisturiser (hoping for this in the spacenk one as they're launching here this month 🤞)
• A nice citrussy cleansing oil, I've got enough balms now
• BTSO Dirty Milk (Cult beauty will get me if a decent size of this is in their fragrance version)
• Oribe Dry Texturising Spray, always wanted to try it but the price is insane
• Sweed Lash Serum!

There are definitely more but that's my initial wishlist 😁

I’ve had Space NK for the past couple of years. Really looking forward to seeing the contents of all the calendars this year.

I sadly can’t remember her name but one lucky poster was given it by her husband, who bought it in France I think.

I have been addicted to these threads for the past few years even though I don’t go in for make up or many skin care products, I just like serums and moisturisers but I love the chat (and getting sucked in to too many advent calendars…).

I have been making myself a Frankenstein since January with different skincare boxes and really fancy Jo Malone or Jo Loves this year for a fragrance advent. I had Elemis last year which I found a bit samey despite loving the brand (and too many cleansers for me) and I bought Lumene in the sale for Jadvent but had had it the year before so it wasn’t very exciting it turned out. So fragrance is where I think it is at for me this year…

What I'd like to see:
Any of the Augustinus Bader serums, or eye cream for me.

And I see Cult Beauty has started stocking some Sulawhasoo - I'd love to see some of their products pop up!

And pairs of interesting shampoo&conditioner - always nice to try ones I'd not thought of before, and useful for travelling.

@Willow742 I think if any of them had the Sisley eye contour cream in, then that would easily win it for me.

I have a spreadsheet where I score them, mainly based on the skincare it has, I like as a minimum for it to include; a cleanser, a day serum, a night serum, a day moisturiser, a night cream and an eye cream. Bonus points for full size products and then also anything luxury. I like to use the advent calendars as a way to try out stuff that I can't afford to blind buy which is why I tend to buy the Harrods one 😍

@mrsnjw I think it was @pinkchampagne1 who had the Jo Malone a/c. (I could be wrong!)

Do Liberty sell other advent calendars?

I know they sell a men’s and sometimes a jewellery one, but if they stock single brand calendars maybe I could spend my BD money on one of those!

Something from Victoria Beckham Beauty - I like those new blush sticks but they're a silly price for 1g of product. A VBB perfume would appeal as well, particularly Reverie.

Vintner's Daughter Cleanser

Would love the new Harrods exclusive BTSO Golden Milk but strongly suspect that won't be happening.

A good sized cleansing balm - at least 50ml

A day ago I would have said an MZ product and the Reome Broth and both of those are in Liberty which gives it extra brownie points this year. Especially as I nearly bought Reome from Liberty a couple of months ago.

Yes it was me. 😃 I loved the JM calendar - it was a real treat. DH got me it for my Christmas present so I opened it for Jadvent!

Oooh hello everyone - how lovely to have an advent calendar thread! I lurk on the beauty GWP and SORD threads sometimes, but I get excited by these threads 😆

I got a bit carried away last year and I think I ended up with eight advent and 12 days of Christmas b
calendars, so I’m determined to keep to two or three this year. Famous last words! 🤣

I'm really pleased about the eye cream and the Reome

I have had 2 Jo Malone calendars. Both looked gorgeous and had in the main fab stuff in, exactly what you would expect. Lots of miniature perfumes (the proper small sizes(, hand cream, bath oil etc and 1 full sized perfume.. I think that there was also a pompom keyring that I wasn't a fan of 🤣. Perfumes are a mix of female and male scents.

I think I only got 2 fragrances that were a bit masculine in my 2025 Jo Malone calendar. I gave those to DH. The rest were all feminine.

That's interesting @pinkchampagne1. I had a 2024 calendar and I think 2021.

I'm impatient too to see what all the other BACs are like as have crossed Liberty off my list this year as only really interested in AB Face Oil, Crystal Saffron & Blue Talisman Extrait.
