Beauty & Fragrance Advent Calendars- Info/Chat 2026 SPOILERS

Hi everyone who is joining from the Beauty GWP chat threads and welcome to anyone else.

Last year our lovely @BakeOffRewatch did an amazing job running all the threads through to December. This year due to the time commitment it takes, we're going to try and run them as a community effort.

Guidelines
I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up.

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.

It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

I don't know how well this will work out but thanks in advance to everyone who helps out.

I should have also said that the Zelens and Nocturne were snapped up on eBay- no way would I pay full price for them, (though they ARE lovely!)

The only thing I've repurchased from last years advent calendar so far is the Ciroa body butter I got in the Glamour advent. Im either still working my way through the things from my Libery calendar or they're outside my normal budget. I did love the MZ rich moisturiser, Trinny lip to cheek pot, Zelens mask and most of the perfumes though.
I've already had an email telling me to keep an eye out for the Harrods beauty calendar so I'm getting stressed about the inevitable scrum for the fragrance calendar 😅

I've gone through both bottles now. I've just started the virtue from the look fantastic new season edit and that smells even nicer 😍 I'm thinking of RP that full edit.

@ClutteredPalace I'm trying to tell myself that I probably won't get it so I don't get my hopes up too much. Its currently not working, I keep going back to assuming that I will. The fomo is so bad on that one 😥

The Harrods scent is back in stock, it doesn’t stack with the gwp though.

@JoRaRaRa that sounds like a good approach and one I need to adopt. The problem is, I'm a terrible liar 😂 I think I'm going to go back and study all the fragrance advents from last year so I've got a plan B. Fingers crossed the advent fairy blesses us all this year 🤞🤞🤞

Hello everyone. Looking forward to the contents reveals, one day the beauiful Liberty advent will be for me maybe but I like more make up mixed in, then I am fussy about the colours and don't need another red lip or black eyeliner and it can fall apart a bit but usually find something I love in the end. Looking for me and 11yoDD possibly if there is something suitable..

I also got the email from Harrods saying their calendars will be revealed soon. I noticed on the picture of the beauty calendar that there appear to be different sized doors. Usually all doors on the Harrods advent are the same size so maybe it is a little different this year.

That would be good. I did enjoy last year's beauty AC despite some of the tiny sizes but things like the 5ml Tatcha Indigo cream were a bit too stingy - that's the sort of thing SNK would throw in as a free sample at checkout.

I think the equal sized square drawers has limited what they can put in them previously. Although big drawer doesn't always mean better product. They might just put a bigger PK Elasticiser in there. 😂

I agree, it was a bit disappointing getting such a tiny cream, especially for the Christmas Eve box! You are right though, the big boxes might contain a big PK product or a big bottle of toner by The Ordinary! 😆

That Christmas eve tatcha was a right disappointment 🤣 It should've been full size.

I don't mind if it's a toner, it's when they put a 'cheap' serum or moisturiser etc in. That does not impress me 🤣 I like it when most of the value goes on the skincare.

I just went back to the Harrods email to see if I could see any of the products peeking out of the advent calendar, but nope, can't see anything 🤣

Completely agree about that Tatcha / it’s a great cream and I’ve since purchased a full size. I think SNK was a bit more generous overall. I did enjoy Harrods though.

I am getting impatient for the Harrods contents to be revealed too - just a few spoilers would be good. 😃 Looks like the Christmas Day box is a smaller one, but sometimes great things come in small packages!

I don’t mind a toner either - I really liked the Sisley one in last year’s Harrods. I ended up with 2 as my friend gave me her one from her Liberty calendar as she didn’t get on with it.

I am hoping that this year they put something exciting in the Christmas Day box this year. It seemed Harrods put the good products in the earlier boxes and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were disappointing

Harrods 2024 was really good. We got the AB retinol serum, a full sized Murad night cream, the Valmont mask, a full sized Clarins moisturiser, the EGF power serum, Tom Ford lipstick and lots more. I hope this year’s is as good as that one. I did enjoy the 2025 one but there were less full sizes and I would have liked something more exciting in the Christmas Day box.

My favourite Harrods was 2024 for reasons above.

They were the only ones not to increase the price in 2025 which may explain the smaller sizes.,The fragrance calendar hiked considerably though- hope that doesn’t happen again.

What will 2026 bring? Exciting times ahead.

How exciting to be in BAC season already!

I shall be following but am determined to stick with my plan of doing a Frankenstein this year (if you recall this was my plan last year but I somehow ended up with three calendars instead!).

I’ve been picking up a few bits that I know I love as I see them on sale or in edits.

So far I have:
🎅🏼Lumene Nordic c serum
🎅🏼Lumene rich night cream
🎅🏼Bioeffect egf serum
🎅🏼Biossance Copper peptides serum
🎅🏼Anua pdrn serum
🎅🏼Some tweezers, mine always vanish
🎅🏼A face palette that includes base, bronzer, blusher, highlighter, eyeshadow x2. Wouldn’t be enough for lots of people but for someone like me who doesn’t really do makeup and wants something easy to chuck in hand luggage it’s great.
🎅🏼Redken shampoo and conditioner (blue bottle can’t remember exactly what it is)
🎅🏼Color Wow raise the root spray - I actually use this instead of dry shampoo as dry shampoo makes me itch like mad- I just spray a bit of this on and blast with the hairdryer and my hair looks freshly washed. Interested to try the k18 air wash too so may add this to my list of things to hunt out.

Quite serum heavy at the moment! I definitely do not need more cleanser, toner, lip products or body wash in there as they seem to last me ages despite being used daily! I loved the Espa bath milk I got in my calendar last year so might look for one of those.

Here’s to being as disciplined as BakeOffRewatch was last year and not getting FOMO as you all start buying!
