A total menace and always riding in pedestrian areas never on the road.
I’m sick and tired of bikes being ridden where they shouldn’t be by males wearing scruffy black clothes with face coverings.
The proper cyclists use the roads, not pedestrian walkways.

I know this thread was a while ago now, but I was reminded of it yesterday, when I was driving along the road and two guys on e-bikes (rather than pedal bikes) were on the road. Ok, they were on the road not the pavement, but they were weaving dangerously in and out of the traffic. They had face coverings that were more than balaclavas, even, just two holes for eyes, and black jackets with the hoods up over their head coverings . One hood slipped back and the guy immediately pulled it over his head again. No heat wave here yesterday, but still, it's too warm for all that!. And the two-eyehole thing is just suspicious, they look up to no good. Then a deliveroo driver came along the road in the other direction, wearing a balaclava.

Maybe they read the thread about sunburn and are responsibly covering up to protect their skin?

There are such things as flat sandals. As far as I’m aware, online shops such as boohoo are no longer promoting the summer dress with trainers look and haven’t been doing for a number of years

It's not always about fashion though. I know a few women who just don't have the feet for sandals. I don't, I've had a toenail damaged so badly it never grew again and looks ugly. And a friend has the most horrendous bunions. From wearing stupid shoes I guess. If I had pretty feet I'd wear sandals.

You might be interested in this, where a podiatrist was recommending a toenail reconstruction, which lasts several months. Would last you for summer & you could have painted toenails & sandals!! She posts photos - says it's much better than a stick-on toenail.

As for bunions - have you seen Victoria Beckham's feet??!!! Doesn't stop her wearing barely there high sandals ...

Not sure if this has been mentioned but I saw a few girls walking around town with tatty denim too-short shorts which were undone. It looked really rough and I wondered what was going on as seemed to be everywhere today. It is apparently a thing.

The lads in my neck of the woods, who ride e-bikes and are fully masked, are well known drug dealers.

It was a thing in the 90s. CK pants pulled high over low waistbands; if you struggled to pull the pants high enough or the jeans low enough, you undid the jeans.

Looked stupid then too.

The ones I saw today... well the knickers were just plain looking ones non branded which is even weirder. Just looked like they had forgotten to do the zip up.

If they fit close to your hips then they won't fall down if you undo the zip. Usually you do a little shimmy to get jeans over your arse.

Call me harsh but I’m getting sick of bum cheeks hanging out of shorts. I can now rate cellulite (including mine) on a scale of 1-10. Joking! I pissed off slightly as only one pair of my shorts fits me now. Cba to look for more yet.
