I disagree about linen. I love linen during the summer. May be that it depends on where you buy your linen? Mine doesn't crease badly.

Shirtless men, for sure. I think more places need to enforce a ban. I really dislike too much back skin on display on anyone anywhere (except at the beach/pool etc).

Almost all summer clothes are horrible in my opinion. There is nothing suitable for this season that is nearly as elegant as boots with black tights and a swingy faux fur coat. It is a miserable time for style.
