What's good in M&S right now?

Live quite rurally so don't often get the chance to shop physically - always online. Tomorrow I'm going to a fairly large M&S. Would love to see what, if anything, people rate there. Open to any suggestions.

Wide leg Jeans. The regular ones are perfect for my leg length, which is usually too short for regular jeans. The waist fit is a lovely height. The jeans are comfortable and flattering, and all for under £30!

Short jackets. I managed to get this yesterday, though I sized up to a 14 as couldn't get a 12. It's gorgeous.

Lots of nice summer/beachy dresses. Little linen ones, long cotton ones.
Some beautiful Jaeger stuff but pricey.

Thank fuck it’s not just me on the sizing. I’ve been really down this last week having tried squeezing into several jeans/trousers in there in my usual size…

I like white cover ups but they get ruined with sunscream so I dont spend a lot on them, usaully have big shirts.

I’ve ordered their linen maxi skirt - although it’s actually midi (I tried it on in store). Comes in black and natural, it’s going to be so useful over the summer. £30 bargain!

Loads of excellent jackets - I got a cream faux leather one. Some good basic t shirts too.

I bought this two weeks ago and it really is gorgeous. I did cut out the shoulder pads as they were too strong for me but now it’s so relaxed and cool. I’ve had compliments whenever I wear it.

Me too! I've not bought any jeans there for ages, have lost a stone and a half since Christmas and earlier this week was struggling to fit into jeans in the size I was wearing before I lost weight!

@AnOldCynic I posted a thread a while back and loads said the same. Im usually a tight 16/loose 18 usually but could barely get the barrel leg ones on. So disheartening. Someone mentioned some of the jeans have elastene so are more stretchy

Oddly the clothing has all fit me at an 8, but the shoes… I’m a size 4 everywhere always and I had to buy a 3. I got these to go with the above suedette jacket:

Me too it is totally crazy and really bloody annoying especially if you order online. I have to buy 12 and 14 in regular and short then send back what doesnt fit. Crazy sizing.

I’ve spent loads in there this month. I needed a whole new spring summer wardrobe due to losing weight. Dresses, linen trousers, tops. And some beautiful ballet type shoes with a strap for work.

Saw a classic white shirt advertised for £18 - unsure of the material but will buy one if it’s cotton.

I bought these wide leg jeans last week and love them... they have a darker stripe down the side and look flattering and just a bit more interesting on.

Had to size up though so am quietly relieved reading these comments to know its not just me 😂

So relieved it's not just me. I literally live in M&S, especially for their short length trousers, but the sizing is SO inconsistent. I have size 12 boyfriend jeans that are lose on me but tried the cropped jeans last summer and even the 14 was tight. Made me feel so bad about myself.

They have changed their sizing recently. Loads of influencers complaining about it on Instagram!

Damn you. I do not need a green jacket……but something about this one…..

Loads of people saying jeans but they just don't work for me. Too short, too high and too tight across the tummy. River Island, on the other hand, fit perfectly.
