What's good in M&S right now?

Live quite rurally so don't often get the chance to shop physically - always online. Tomorrow I'm going to a fairly large M&S. Would love to see what, if anything, people rate there. Open to any suggestions.

Food or clothing?

Jeans and linen shirts.

Clothing - apologies, that would have been helpful context.

I’ve seen some nice light spring / summer jackets. The good move range is decent.

Mom fit ankle length jeans in various colours.
Linen shirts. There’s a nice chocolate brown one with a thin white stripe.
Heavy weight boxy t shirts

I bought a couple of nice pairs of jeans recently (high rise flare and some straight legged) but they seem to have messed about with their sizes again. I’ve had to size up in every thing that I’ve bought recently and size up twice in a couple of things. I saw a couple of people on Instagram saying the same thing too. Definitely worth trying on if you can’t get back there easily.

I have this blouse. Comes in various colours. Lovely blouse and really reasonable.

Also nice range of linen wide leg trousers.

i bought this recently, loads of compliments including from my teens!

I have the chocolate brown white striped shirt. It’s lovely!

I’ve bought some cotton palazzo culottes in both beige and white and they’re fab. I bought the long length so they skim the ankle. Really lovely!

So much lovely stuff but I am usually a 12 in the trousers but have had to be a 14 or even 16 to feel like I’m not going to burst a seam! It’s so depressing - I never thought Marks and Sparks would make me feel so fat 😢

I've just bought some lovely underwear from their Amelia range.

@DabralorI have the same issue with M&S trousers, discovered it’s not a waist size problem but because they opt for an unusually short front rise which leads to a bad fit on some body shapes.

Re sizing - does the smaller sizing have any impact on sleeve length? As a tall person, M&S was always very challenging for me with tops, blazers, coats, jackets but improved a couple of years ago. It would be awful if they had swiftly returned to no top fits ever territory.

Worth trying on because very comfortable and useful. I had to size down 2 sizes

Currently debating whether I need their barrel leg utility trousers. In black. My son got some of their adult barrel leg jeans and he loves them, very good quality for thirty quid.

I don’t really have any need for a wedge sandal but I noticed the tan version of these in store this week and thought they were so nice

Linen shirts, jeans - cigarette ones lovely. I’m pissed at their sizing though lately. I’ve never been a size 16 ever!

I highly recommend these seersucker trousers. They're cool, comfortable and I change into them as soon as I'm home. I'm 5'2" and Short fits perfectly

They do a Slim fit cotton top in various colours for £10 which I love so much I have 4 of them. They are great with wide legged trousers (which are also good in M&S) or jeans (ditto) and get an unbelievable amount of compliments for a cheap basic top.

They have upped their game massively recently.

They’ve got some lovely things. I’ve bought this years cotton palazzo pants in beige and seersucker stripe (had the black and white last year). Size 10 (I’m a 12).
Just bought an amazing pair of gold crinkle wide leg trousers and a nice cream blouse to go with them. I can’t seem to do a link! Both size 12.
I agree that sizing is a bit bonkers this season. The jeans in particular - so I’ve bought Levi’s instead (which are more expensive but fab).

I bought a nice denim jacket that nips in at the waist.
