Hello everyone, anyone is welcome to join.

The rules (anyone can join):

This is about feeling better about yourself...not necessarily a diet per se etc etc

  • Sunscreen at all times - REALLY mean this now summer is here.
  • No or little booze. Wine or Champagne or whatever at the weekend is allowed if you want it
  • Walking is important, a small amount every day if possible. 30 mins if you can
  • Lots of water, aim for 2 litres a day
  • Apply body cream as often as possible
  • Use hand cream
  • Go to bed early, by 10.30pm if pos
  • Eat healthily
  • Be happy

The idea is that we all feel happier, healthier and glow with the good food, sleep, exercise, water and lack of sun damage.

However, some of us (me and Suzywong) are doing India and Neris's Idiot Proof Diet (Atkins, more or less), others are doing Slimy World, others are doing the having-four-children-and-livestock-to-manage. LoveandSqualor is trying to put on weight

Anyway, we do a lot of chatting about life and everything on this thread but amongst it all we often post how we're feeling and what we ate and it acts as a conscience. Some of the time

Happy shiny new week everyone.

Back from camping. It was wet. Started raining yesterday morning and hadn't stopped by the time we left at 12 today.

Bootcamp not good this weekend:

Sleep - about 8 hours since Friday
Booze - a couple of bottles of ale brewed especially for the site (any port in a storm)
Food - camping stove cooked breakfasts and tea room cakes.
Exercise - too wet to walk, but probably worked off plenty of calories struggling to get the tent down in the rain.
Sunscreen - chance would have been a fine thing.

We'll be booking a cottage with roaring fire and inside bathroom next year.

Hope everyone else has had a nice weekend so far.
