I think I'm done with glittery nails at Christmas

I just looked at mine which I only have during December and realised I can't wait to get them off and changed to a plain colour. And it got me thinking, are glittery nails a bit "im a crazy middle-aged mum #LiveLaughlove "?

If they were, they would surely be identical though? They're not.

They are not the same nails, look at the detail on Jack in particular.

Nor will they be stick on nails at that length and shape, press ons wouldn't have the strength for long stiletto nails. These are acrylics.

My daughters just had hers done so it’s not only older people that love glitter. Here are hers

I get it on my toes only for a sun holiday because I find sun lotion wrecks normal nail polish and I get fed up redoing them.

I love the look of gel nails but hate how removal absolutely trashes them.

I only have gels a few times a year so they get a bit of recovery time in between but I don't find they get trashed, might be worse on longer nails though. I took my dark green/glitter gel off last night and re-did in clear with silver glitter tips (non-gel)

What are soak off clips @FourBlackCatsand where do you get them???

I use soak off clips too, far easier than foil to get all 10 on at the same time, got them on Amazon

I have these that came with a Mylee kit, but they’ll have similar on Amazon. I use them for all my regular polish removal - very non-messy.

These are mine. I was actually planning on getting a classic red. But gold suddenly seemed like the better option.

I only like a French nail or nude colour on my hands . My nails are always short . Not a fan of long talons
However, I like glittery toes

I used them as the inspiration picture for my nail artist, they are not exactly the same you can see that by looking at the details epically in the Santa jack and the vampire doll. They are also not stick ons they are acrylic

No they are real I just really love the film and I only go all out like that once a year at Christmas, the rest of the year they are more simple 🤷🏻‍♀️

I like a glittery nail! Got a new emerald ring for Christmas so had to have matching nails - only just put the ring on thus morning
The nails will be gone before the decorations come down though!
