Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar Opening Thread Part Two

Hi,

Welcome to Part Two, (or Day 18 onwards…)

If you have the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar or are just interested in what’s inside, then please feel free to join in by posting your thoughts on each day’s contents.

If you have swapped out any doors, you can either skip a day here or just tell us what you have swapped in and why!

As is ‘usual’ on these threads, please try to avoid revealing each day’s contents before 7am UK time.

I also LOVE the lipstick, a pleasant surprise as I had considered it a DoD when reading contents before buying! I've got lots to try still, but I'm enjoying the vanilla powder perfume, the eye pencil and the cleanser.

The only thing ive tried so far is the verden lotion. I was putting away my advent calendar & Christmas gifts yesterday & nearly had a heart attack at my "stash". Ive still got last years clarins 12 day for jadvent. This fact stopped me hitting boots sale!

Oh yes the verden cream is a revelation! I have been sleeping so much better since I started using it. I have already bought 3 more on Vinted 😊

How are you all using the Verden cream? I’ve only put some on my hands and arms a few nights. I don’t shower or bath in the evenings so tend not to slather myself in anything else before bed.

Loved every thing in my Liberty BAC though DD has pinched the Granado perfume - though I don't mind as it smells better on her than me.

I think my favourite is going to be the Augustinus Bader eye cream but not my purse's

I really didn't get on with the conditioner when we had it in the drop so would happily swap it for a perfume if anyone wants?

I’ve only just got round to opening the curry smelling shampoo - does the smell stay in your hair after washing or does it rinse out? 😆

I’ve been putting a (non curry) conditioner on after it and it’s been smelling fine!

Thank you! I used it after swimming this morning and the curry smell was really strong when I was washing my hair but after I’d rinsed it well and conditioned it, the smell went 😆

My shampoo definitely doesn’t smell of curry! It smells lovely- herby and fresh and I love that it doesn’t have a cloying sweetness. I much prefer it to the conditioner which I think smells awful (too almondy and sweet) but I do like the product results.

Yes I used my “curry” shampoo yesterday after swimming and while I can see what people mean (vague turmeric aroma) I actually found it a fresh and pleasant smell overall. Hair is nice and soft too.

I used the shampoo yesterday. I was a bit taken aback by the grey colour, plus it gushed out due to the wide opening. Despite the amount that came out it didn’t lather and I didn’t think my hair felt clean so washed it again with another product.

Tbf, my hair was then very clean and silky!

I just got a herby smell from it, which I didn’t mind.

I've been really enjoying using the products over the last few days, especially the skin care, the eye cream and moisturiser feel very luxurious in particular. And I wasnt sure about the mascara or brown eye liner, but now loving both, would never have bought them, so glad I got to try them.

Think my favs are:
Emma Lewisham serum
Augustinus bader eye cream
MZ skin moisturiser
Lisa Eldridge Eye liner
Jones Road Mascara
Trish Mcevoy sheer lipstick
Paula's Choice azelaic acid

If anyone doesn't want any of those and wants to swap please let me know. Particularly if you want a perfume. I don't wear much perfume and still have loads from previous calendars!
