Excited to try today’s products but will wait until the weekend in case I do a Samantha @Netaporter !

I feel so pampered! Magnesium lotion last night, mirror water, Sisley and MZ this morning (still using up other non calendar bits.

ETA: Also the Argon oil!

msmillicentcat · 18/12/2025 08:20

Thanks for the new thread!

A good drawer today. I’ve used the Dermalogica before and I like it. Beware, for those who intend to use it in the shower like I do, it’s a powder that you mix into a paste with wet hands. If you get moisture/steam in the bottle it can ruin it.

i don’t know anything about azelaic acid so will need to look into that one but thanks for the advice @Netaporter very helpful. Similar to you I use a face halo for my evening cleansing routine.

@WeAreBorg How is the Space NK AC? Really considering it for next year :)

It’s wonderful! We’ve had a lot of high quality skincare eg Medik8 peptides serum, Tatcha vit C. Nearly everything has been full size and lots of double drawer days.

H3lloMums · 18/12/2025 08:50

Thanks for the tips @Netaporter - think I'll have to give it a more consistent go

nearly61 · 18/12/2025 09:02

Thank you for the comprehensive information @Netaporter . I'm really looking forward to trying these -a double drawer woohoo!! I think, like others, I'll start with the dermalogica but I definitely want to build the PC into my somewhat sparse routine. Hoping it's suitable for older skin...off to do a bit more reading up!

Ilikeyoursleeves · 18/12/2025 09:04

I was wondering where everyone was this morning and thought you all thought today’s was really rubbish so weren’t wanting to post about it! 🤣🤣🤣

I wrote this on the other thread…

Some skin care today! Dermalogica daily microfoliant and Paula’s Choice Boost. Will need to read up on these! Great to have a double drawer though

If anyone wants to swap the Paula's choice let me know. I'm not keeping any of the perfumes if that's helpful.

If you are happy I would like to swap for the ex nihilo blue talisman perfume? (Apologies for spelling!)

Absolutely I hate that one 😂I'll DM you.

Does anyone have any recommendations for SPF to wear over moisturisers in the winter? In the summer i use a Medik8 moisturiser that has SPF in it as well, but I need a much deeper moisturiser in the winter (loving the small pink tub from last week). I never bother with SPF in the winter as I live in the far north of Scotland where we literally only get a few hours of daylight at this time of year, but I don’t want my vit c products to be wasted/pointless if I need to wear SPF to see a difference with them.

Fabulous!!! 😂

jay55 · 18/12/2025 09:37

I’m pretty clueless on today’s offerings.

Hicupping · 18/12/2025 09:39

@WestrayWife I'm finding the La Roche Posay Cicaplast baume spf50 a good one. Doesn't irritate or cause any issues. Another great one is supergoops mineral spf30. They claim it's a primer too but that's nonsense imo. I've got the medik8 vit c SPF30 cream and that looks terrible on my skin, made me sad, full size too.

nearly61 · 18/12/2025 09:43

Ooh just a quick heads up -the dermalogica isn't sealed and has a pretty big hole for the powder to come through so is very easy to accidentally spill...don't ask me how I know 🙄. However it is really lovely to use and has made my face feel very soft and smooth.

I’m happy to swap the Paula’s choice too. I think I’ve got enough perfume. Was there anything else?

@Hicupping either the above contains a spoiler for a day we’ve not had yet or you’ve got mixed up between calendars maybe - or I’ve forgotten opening it, possibly 😬

I've asked for it to be deleted.

I’ve just used a set of the eye masks - I am very impressed! I had a good look at my eye area before using them and they’ve made a noticeable difference.

Today I’ve used the argan oil mixed in with my curl cream which seems to be working nicely too.

Haha, I couldn’t work out which it was either, untamedshrew (and I say this as someone who looked at the contents in detail before my DH ordered it!).

I use Superfacialist moisturiser with an SPF15 in it during the winter months. It doesn’t sting if I’m exercising (my pet hate with SPF’s) it has a gorgeous rose scent. If you want something as an extra layer there are mineral powder SPF’s if you use powder over your make up and there are over make up sprays too.

wheresmyshoe · 18/12/2025 10:20

Fantastic info @Netaporterthank you. I love the Dermalogica, gentle but effective, gives me a soft glow.

NewcastleNancy · 18/12/2025 11:24

Very excited about what we got today.

Goodness me I am going to miss getting up early, putting the tree and the kettle on, feeding the animals and opening a little drawer.

LancreWowhawk · 18/12/2025 12:08

I'm intrigued by today's drawer. I haven't had much luck with exfoliators in the past, they tend to upset my skin. I even had to stop regularly using a cloth to cleanse with as it was just too much for it, but that was a long time ago, and my skin is very different now, so I'm keen to try again.

I'm completely new to any sort of acid treatment (frankly, most treatment steps in general!) so I'm excited to give it a whirl, but will be proceeding carefully!

Thanks, @Netaporter for all your information, it is so helpful to a skincare dunce like myself!

Chocolateteabag · 18/12/2025 12:48

@ReprogramNeeded- I use Tret 3-4 times a week (was Skin & Me and currently Tretiheal- 3+ years now) and have used the Dermalogica scrub with no ill effects

I used the scrub in the shower in the morning - after using Tret - and then only once a week or as needed. I have tricky skin which has flakey attacks brought on by allergies - the scrub is very easy / almost calming I find

that isn’t very scientific - but just wanted to add my experience. I’m v happy with another pot - it’s a great scrub

EdinaMonsoon · 18/12/2025 13:28

@WestrayWife I use Glossier Invisible Shield spf50 all year round. It's light & not remotely greasy. Super effective against summer sun & bitter winter winds.
