I’m wearing the mascara today and really like it. I love the brush. I usually wear Dior but could be swayed by this. I’ll see if it clumps before I finish the tube.

I’ve ordered the mascaras it was stand out fir me.

I've been bitterly disappointed by the number of perfumes this year. I don't ever want to check what's in it before I buy because it ruins the surprise but when I had my first liberty calendar a few years ago there were hardly any perfumes in it. I'm really not interested in trying multiple random perfumes all seemingly with the same woody scent.

I was also really disappointed not to get a candle this year.

I want skincare skincare skincare! Can anyone recommend a really good luxury skincare advent calendar please?

Just been on vinted and people are charging nearly as much as I can buy from Liberty directly. As I get free postage a lot of it costs more.

Got a deal last year on the AB Rich cream which was worth it so bought a few.

I’m off to repurchase directly which is good for Liberty I suppose

I haven’t had the Liberty calendar but am lurking as just joined the Beauty Drop so may look to get it next year.

I have had Harrods for the last 2 years and would really recommend it if you love luxury skin care. There was only one fragrance this year (maybe because of the separate fragrance calendar) and only a little make up. Most of it was luxury skin care that I could never justify buying for myself but love to try out when I receive it in an advent calendar. 😊

@pinkchampagne1thank you!! I will check them out for next year. I love luxury skincare. Love trying things I wouldn't ordinary buy and there's often a gem that's a treat to use. Not so bothered about make up although we got a nice eye pencil in the liberty calendar this year that I'm enjoying using and a lipbalm too (although generally can't be arsed with lip balm and lose them almost instantly 😆).

Sounds like the Harrods calendar could be a good match for you. We got some real luxury moisturisers including a La Mer one and a crazily expensive Valmont one. There was also a U Beauty serum, a MediK8 retinol serum, an Evidens face mask, MZ Skin eye cream and lots more.
We did get some make up (blush drops, lipstick, setting powder, mascara etc) but not as much as other calendars.

This may be a delayed reaction but have been using it for a few days now, and £65 for a lip balm is utterly insane!!

Glad I had the opportunity to try it but, good grief, will not be re-buying at that price - it’s a slightly firmer pot of Vaseline!

On the other hand, I will be buying another eye pencil (in a different colour), some of the perfumes, the hair conditioner (already bought full size), and some Trinny make-up (I got the under eye concealer, it is v nice). All of the skin care is waiting for a space in my rotation, so haven’t fallen in love just yet.

Oh, and I also used the Social Life for hair yesterday and my hair is looking great (also thanks to Manketti conditioner).

I’ve been using the La Mer lip balm every day and other than the fancy packaging I’m not rating it either! I prefer my tube of chapstick I got from Home Bargains 🤣 The La Mer actually seems to dry my lips and I am finding I need to apply it far more often than I normally would with a lip balm.

I’ve been wearing the dark lipstick (that’s not actually dark at all) everyday and I really love that and have been using that as a new lip
balm! If anyone wants to swap a lippy with the Paula’s Choice or Dermologica let me know.

What’s been everyone’s favourites??

My favourite (if I had to choose just one) is definitely the lipstick.

I haven't tried everything yet, but I like the lipstick, the eye pencil, trinity cheek stain and the argan oil
