Aaargh!! WTF have they done?!

it was terrible before but now it’s going to be absolutely impossible to find the right size.

now if I want a size 14 I can only choose medium which will show me all size 12 and 14s. 🙈🙈

Well Vinted are being obtuse, I sent a screen shot of an example of the sizing issue, they asked for a link, I sent a link and now they want me to "write the Vinties user name"....!

The sizing has always been terrible on vinted. It can't cope with anything that has its own sizing system. I've looked for swimming costumes before and need a size 24 which is about an 8/10 but it gets listed a 6xl or something ridiculous

Thanks for announcing! I’ve only a few items listed so I’ve updated them, but what a faff. Now I also need to keep an eye out for if they change back…

This actually makes buying harder. I’m a size 10/12, so now I have to browse 8/10 (risk of being too small) and 12/14 (risk of being too big)? It’s all the crazier given size discrepancy between brands. What we really need is to be able to set actual size by brand.

I've told Vinted their response wasn't helpful so try again. They have asked me to wait whilst they look into things!

Yeah it's awful. I'm plus sized, and I have no idea what size I am supposed to be now. This will put me off buying a lot

I actually can't search to find things to buy! It's so badly done. I don't want a size range, I am a size 14. I don't want to see size 12 things as they won't fit me. Why would I waste my time ploughing through double the amount of search results knowing that 50% of them are not worth looking at! So bloody stupid.

Likewise my size 14 Boden coat!

Edit: I think kids sizes are still ok, which means only about 1/3 of my items need changing

Uurgh mine have all changed to so my size 20 items are now saying 32-34.

Is it worth going through everything and changing it? I have a big pile of stuff I was hoping to put on vinted today!

Thanks for the head up on this 🫠 Monsoon Size XXL (22-24) items had changed to a 6XL 40-42 🙄
Have just changed the handful of things I had left on there.

Thanks for the link @ThirdStorm I've just messaged them and sent a screenshot showing an item that I bought last night which was advertised as a 14 and has 14 clearly marked in the seller's description, but which is now showing as an XL 20-22 in the Vinted size description. Will see what they come back with.

What if people buy items and aren’t happy with the sizing? If it had been listed correctly and vinted changed it then surely Vinted should be on the hook for the costs involved?!

I had no idea and just checked my listings which are now all 16-18! Do I leave it in the hope that it rights itself or edit EVERY item?!

Tha for posting as I thought it was me and I had somehow managed to set it to European sizes or something! I have always included the UK size in my title for the item and I am glad I did now. I hope that they change it for the better soon, I have a whole lot of items to sell

Oh what a shit show. I have alotmofmlistings. Just had a huge clear out. Thankfully the first line of all.my listed items says Monsoon Size 14 etc but even so no-one is going to find stuff easily.

I'm going to hold out changing mine for now, in case it's an error and they change it back.
Luckily I always include the label size in the description and a photo of the label.
But I'll also hold out on uploading any more items, which was my plan today.

It’s a crazy system now made much worse. I’ve changed all my listings - what a faff that was! Most other people aren’t aware yet so my personalisation now has S, M and L! It’ll now make searching for items ridiculously hard as unless the seller photos the size label and gives measurements it’s impossible to know what size an item really is.
I think all vinted replies are AI generated.

Why not just list things as they are? The multiple xxxxl stuff is so confusing and irrelevant.

Please please send a message to Vinted complaining so they sort it out. The more of us that complain the better.

I’m so glad you posted this! I was about to start working my way through a huge pile I need to list.

Done! I got an automated response saying it might take longer than normal to get back and please not to repeat message about same issue so I'm going to take a guess that they're getting slammed with complaints. 😁
