I hardly post in this topic but read it frequently and thought it would be interesting to see what recommendations you got from here that turned out to be great. I always prefer to come here instead of reading reviews that could be paid for. These are the two I’m forever grateful for

Ancient & Brave true collagen- seeing results after 5 months, will continue

Dermatica- completely eradicated acne that I had for 30 years and tried every blood cream and diet going!

100 Stars, I bought quite a lot after reading about them here, all lasted well, loved the designs and colours but then the quality dipped and continued to do so, but the prices went silly. Last items I bought were so badly made I did not bother opening some things I ordered, all went back. Also quite odd they had a sale which was on only a few days they just stopped, then nothing, wonder if they are in trouble?.

Their Nibs PJ's, nice cotton (but the silky stuff is vile) wash well, different patterns, but you can get them in TKmaxx at times (along with shower caps/eyemasks/hair wraps).

Thank you so so much for writing this. I went to an outlet today and replaced my Gary’s which had finally lost their elastic. I had tried their replacement (the Gaias) and they’re not flattering on me. The staff in the outlet shop told me that the Gary’s will be permanently stocked in SB outlet stores

Wow! That’s made my day!

Off to find an outlet, my Gary’s have been hanging in there since 2020 😂

Saint and Sophia Apartment pants.

Yes! These too. I wear these on occasions when I can’t get away with SB Gary’s. Wide end to be fashionable, not so wide that I look like a block of flats!

This, total gamechanger, does not smudge, comes off with a wet cloth, it’s fab and cheap as chips.

Any particular brand people recommend?
i use mascara everyday but ive never actually looked into the different types of them. Thanks in advance

Rum.

I ended up buying the tartelette tubing mascara, ive been using it for a few weeks and i am pleased. No smidging, easier to remove and well defined eyelashes

i bought kerastase shampoo/conditioner/oil - very pleased. My hair is shinier and i already have less breakage! And DP loves the smell of the night oil.

i bought the by terry pressed powder - i have to admit it is great but i will buy the timted version next time, not sure why there is a white version?

i bought some tightliner eyeliner - no different from my usual eyeliner

i bought Dr Dennis daily peel - it worked well the first few times i used it but now it doesnt seem to make such a difference. I am using it ince a week only. Makes my skin more deay for sure. Will try to use them fortnighly instead.

I bought some rosehip cleanser from pai - very lovely - will explore their range next time i need something

I bought beard dye to use on my eyebrows and lashes after seeing it recommended here. I had tried Refectocil but it washed out so quickly it wasn’t worth the hassle.

Transforms my face and no more time wasted brushing or drawing brows on. I redo it once or twice a month.

Men's stuff is often better - I've swapped to Mitchum Men's Invisible deodorant, a proper game changer.

Yes I do this as does my 21 year old DD.

I do my mum’s too and once, before a job interview, I did DH’s 👀

I bought natural deodorant this weekend and there were a number of brands that had a men’s option 😀 which I assumed would be the one that works 😀
(I do actually rate Wild but it’s being dropped by health food shops because it’s now owned by Unilever.)
