I disappointed with the LF calendars especially the beauty one. Last year had a 30ml Elemis cream.

I suppose the perfume one is as expected. I don't mind small sizes for the price but there's nothing that grabs me.

I am very disappointed with it as thought last years was great snd had high hopes for it. Also Space NK isn’t for me I only really want 6 items that I would look to buy elsewhere.
Initial thoughts are the LF fragrance could be on the short list, at least they have a 50ml snd 30ml which HN didn’t have.
Why does it seem so hard to choose one this year

Look Fantastic is beyond disappointing this year and has some repeats from last year. At the moment the Boots premium is looking like my winner.

@MrsBnow12 last years also had that ABH eyeshadow palette. This year it's a Revolution bronzing palette worth 8.99.

I know I sound picky but they've been bigging this one up as best ever anniversary and last years was loads better.

Sorry you don't like SNK. I am at least happy with that one should I buy it.

All the hype and then a revolution palette that was in last years ASOS calendar. I will likely use most of the other products but might go for Next or Boots instead this year. I think last years was better but that seems to be a running theme for me. I'm going to have a closer look at the fragrance calendar as I could split it for gifts. I think dh will like the men's one so that is him sorted.

Me. I bought it at 11.46 so I thought I'd be at the front of the queue 🤣

Add vitamins to the list of things we do not want in an advent calendar.

Also very disappointed with the LF calendar. I had such high hopes for it. I need to see an unboxing of it I think 😕

I quite like color wow dreamcoat so I'm happy to try the shampoo and conditioner. Glad there's no Olaplex. I think I'm just going to go for Harrods.

I've been lurking on the 2 AC threads, it's taken me a couple of weeks to get through the posts so far, and here I am! I'm very new to beauty AC's after my DSis got me the F&M one last year. I loved it and do actually wear the scrunchy, even outside of the house sometimes.

Thanks to you lot I've joined the Liberty beauty drop and ordered the Liberty AC. I've also ordered the Liberty travel and fragrance sets, along with some Trinny London bits, to get the beauty gwp (I'm cottoning on to the lingo). I geekishly listed everything in the travel and fragrance sets, as well as the AC, and there wasn't much duplication at all between the 3 which I'm pleased about.

I'm tempted by the Fenwick AC too, and also the Bonne Maman one which I usually spot in Costco. I'm justifying spend as I'll probably use some of the products as Christmas and birthday gifts for friends and family.

I wonder if brands aren't as forthcoming this year with what they will offer and some (Sunday Riley) have decided to not do it at all?

I've noticed that there's also been no bioeffect or decree. With so many edits this year including bioeffect, I thought it would definitely appear in an AC. There's not been as much Charlotte tilbury as previous years too. There's been way too much sdj, although I did like the full Size shower wash in the SNK one.

Revolution is a shocker! Agree, @HollyGolightly4. It’s one I’ve bought half price in Superdrug for my preteen in the past!

I got fed up of Liberty emails re the calendar so hit on the idea of DH using my BD account and credit to buy me the calendar and scent kit for my October birthday. So that’s done and I’m calendared up. (I said ‘that’s my calendar sorted’ and he said ‘your FIRST calendar’ - he’s not new to this.)

I’m disappointed in most calendars this year. 😢. At least I won’t be repeating my madness of last year when I bought five! I’ll probably just buy a Boots/No7 one and maybe a Next or M&S depending on the contents. I should be grateful to all the companies for saving me from myself.

I warned my husband that I'd be buying 3 or 4 calendars, there isn't 1 that is an absolute must for me, I feel like I've let him down 😭🤣

You're exactly right, that's how I feel. I'd buy it anyway, but if it was in an Advent calendar then it would feel free

Agree that the LF BAC is a bit of a let down. That said, it has Medik8 hydrate B5 intense which I have repurchased many times since receiving in last years SNK and I do like MAC products.
I’m disappointed that the Elemis is only 15ml.

Overall, if it gets reduced I’ll definitely buy it, but otherwise I’ll not bother.

I like many of the scents in the fragrance AC, so may purchase that and split to use some as gifts

I agree, LF is disappointing, they raised the expectations with their promo emails. No wonder they've allowed the details to be leaked

See a couple of people have had the Harrods perfume calander dispatched. Ive not heard a thing, hope it doesnt get cancelled😯Looking at the Liberty GWP, might consider getting that. Feel like over the last couple of years advents are not what they used to be imo..

I suppose we do need to recognise that it’s much cheaper than some of the big players, so the offering won’t be quite as good. But there are definitely some items that really drag the value down.

I think as part of the RHOBAC series, Ovahere needs to do some consulting work for Look Fantastic!

For me the eye roll item is Avant - for £92. Symbiosis, Fleurie, Avant. Not fooling anyone.
I've never bought LF doesn't look too bad for £105.

I've been giving items scores out of 3 and seeing which Calendars have the highest average score. SNK winning so far but nothing screaming GET ME! so far apart from the Harrods Fragrance just because of the ridiculous value for money.
