The regulars on the thread mainly discuss luxury BAC and this dies down by September when everyone has purchased and forgotten the contents. Then it goes into discussion on what’s selling out, what hasn’t and what deals and discounts to be had on ACs in the lead up to December. Then in December we move onto AC opening threads!

I wonder if we could use some footage from last year’s Harrods fight!!

The delivery man/woman was murdered because they work for Evri and the BAC was delivered to the wrong address but the recipient is denying having ever received it. In the next episode the recipient is seen swanning around with luminous skin, signature red lips and black eye liner, smelling of Sol De Janeiro

Then Louis can take the viewer around the mess we've all left harrods in after the massive brawl 🤣 Innocent shoppers will be interviewed and security will tell him that it's the same every year 🤣

When Netflix inevitably drop the show 3 seasons in (on a cliffhanger obviously, just as the bestest ever SNK AC 2028, value 1 millon quid cost £350, is about to be revealed) they can sign us all up for a few seasons of Hoarders. All in we could get about a decade on Netflix.

However after a major outcry from all the fans RHOBAC is reinstated for 2030 with a twist - one of us starts working for one of the BAC company makers!

Edited: fans get the BACs they really & never knew they wanted/needed!

@TracyBeakerSoYeah I'll volunteer to go work for Liberty. They never quite get it right. First day on the job I'll go in with motivational PowerPoints that say things like

• If there is a shampoo there must be a matching conditioner...from the same brand.
• Introduction to the 'go big or go home' concept of day creams and night creams
• Lessons Learned Part One - Philip Kingsley Elasticiser.
• Doors of Doom -an historic look back at wash cuffs, slip scunchies and claw clips - what have we learned?

One year, there was a mumsnetter who left it really late to buy a beauty calendar, and found that all the decent ones had sold out. She then came on the beauty advent calendar thread (where people had been deliberating and discussing them for months), had an enormous strop, and accused people of being greedy and selfish for having bought more than one beauty calendar when she didn’t have any! It was comedy gold. That should definitely be in the show!

I'd also give them a writing task. I'd call it 'Augustinus Bader - do other brands exist? 2000 word market research report on my desk 9am Monday please.

I’m already well on my way for the Hoarders series 😅

I’m also dying to see what 1 million pound offering SNK would have…the possibilities are endless!
Louis will be asking which housewife will do the demo of the inevitable “gadgets” they come up with to bump up the cost (Likely the kind of thing you’d see in the Boots £10 Tuesdays 😅 but premium, of course!)

Then there will be more carnage when someone gets temporarily blinded by an unfortunate spray to the eye in a battle for the best selling fragrance calendar

remember ‘ what not to wear ? ‘ ….we could call it ‘ what not to put in an advent calendar ‘ ….and on that I notice that dr barbara sturm has not made an appearance anywhere this year …

One of us will step forward and do the kindly act of collating all of the DoDs for her into a DIY calendar. She will cry and accuse us of treating her like a charity case. In the next episode she will go around b*tching about us for not giving her better things in the BAC, because “who needs 10 PK elasticizers”…we will all be aghast at the cheek of her, and she will be cast out of the next series

Has the Barbara Sturm eye cream been seen in any reveals yet? I'm desperate for a new one, mine from a previous calendar (possibly Vogue) is almost empty. Unfortunately the Barbara Sturm calendar does not contain it

In one episode Ova is found in the warehouse tearing open the BAC‘s because someone overrode her instructions to keep the Elasticiser out, she’s then thrusting it in said persons face saying “Do I look like I have time for your incompetence”, she then turns on her heel, walks out and meets the rest of us for a champagne lunch and debrief

I love the RHOBAC. We’d make killer edits for collaborations with OK! And LiB and flog them on TikTok.

I'm not sure how I feel about the fragrance one, but I'm definitely a little frustrated that it's a neom candle, I don't rate them.

The LF fragrance has a lot of crowd pleasers and looks good value if you like Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt. Unfortunately I think I’m nose blind to it as can only smell it for about five seconds after spraying.

There’s some fragrances I really like in there but I already own minis of quite a few of them.

It would be a good one to split and use for gifts/stocking fillers. I reckon it will sell out really fast.

Anyone else not had an email from Harrods regarding the fragrance advent calendar being sent. I got a confirmation email when i placed the order on 4th august then nada. Money has been taken from my card for it so I presume the sale went through but there are supposed to start sending them from today

My liberty AC arrived Monday. The new print bag they have used to house it is nice.
