The regulars on the thread mainly discuss luxury BAC and this dies down by September when everyone has purchased and forgotten the contents. Then it goes into discussion on what’s selling out, what hasn’t and what deals and discounts to be had on ACs in the lead up to December. Then in December we move onto AC opening threads!

how did everyone get the £20 Anthropologie voucher? I signed up to the perks programme and downloaded the app but no sign of any discounts for me 🙁

Seeing it written like that looks sooooo bad. I really don't want to do that so I'm going to be trying to scrutinise all my choices really carefully.

If SNK is a really good calendar it might be enough to scratch the itch. I think the difficulty is when there isn't a clear standout but a number of them that are good enough and a mixture of desired products across them.

I remember buying my first M&S calendar in 2017 and it seemed sooooo indulgent. It's one of the cheaper ones now, but at the time it felt like a really extravagant thing to do.

Do we know for sure if there is an M&S calendar this year? They had that big cyber attack earlier in the year and it took ages for them to get back on track, I'm wondering if they'll even do one.

When did you sign up? It took about three days before my voucher came through.

Hi @OnionBag and @Christmaschatalready same for me re. Anthroperks, signed up 6 days ago but no voucher yet - someone upthread mentioned theirs took a week to arrive though so hopefully we'll get one soon.

There was a write up in the Independent a few days ago about M&S being the one to get this year. Whilst that doesn't guarantee anything, I'd like to think that something would have been said if there simply want going to be one 🤞

I skipped M&S last year as it didn’t appeal much. Their summer beauty bag from a few weeks back was excellent, so I am cautiously optimistic about any 2025 a/c they might produce. I did miss having it last year, tbh.

I am not tempted at all by Fenwicks, (which is good as I could do an a/c for the street with my current horde/stash 🙀)

I have signed up for the SNK waitlist.

The Liberty edit is something I would be interested in if it was around £40. I am beginning to think I shouldn’t have signed up to BD, as I am too tight/skint to spend Liberty levels of money 😹😹😹😹

Oh Lordy of m and s is good, I’ll end up that, fortnums and possibly look fantastic (although impatiently waiting for JL and Sephora), plus they’ll hopefully be Liberty edits.

Whilst I don’t need another on top of the sale Lumene one I have in waiting for December my product stash is actually getting low. Well, by my standards anyway (if I don’t have at least 3 randoms of every item in my routine I get slightly fidgety) 😁. Plus it’s a Big Birthday year for me this year so I may have to cave as a treat. To myself. Like one does.

Plus if I buy Anthropologie now I may have forgotten all about it by the time a Femwicks GWP is out 😁

I’ve had a 20% voucher from m and s because I won’t get my reward vouchers till November. I’ve been decluttering at home. I have so much including perfume. I will get my dil the LF one. I have an advent calendar fund so I have put some money away but I’m just not sure. I think mine will be a total impulse buy 😃

I find it thoroughly annoying that I had to sign up to Anthropologie in order to see what was in their AC. It’s a fair price, but I’d rather put the money towards an additional big spend one. I’m sure I’ll find something else to use my £20 voucher on, when it arrives

I think I'm sticking at Liberty and Jl . ( and maybe M and S ) Although I have been a sheep and signed up for Anthropologie . I might see if Liberty do another edit near Christmas, I think I bought a scent one last year .

Anthropologie is irksome. I signed up and still can’t see what’s in it- it tells me it’s only available to anthroperks members and to sign up- so I click on that bit and it tells me I’m already a perks member. But I still can’t see it. Bloody ridiculous! Beautiful as it is, my interest has been overpowered by my annoyance. I also never got a £20 voucher so that’s a further black mark!
