Is this bag tacky?

I’ve had my eye on this bag for a while since the zip broke on my River Island cross body bag.

Basically I want a cross body bag with the wide strap as they are really comfy to wear.

I do like the colour/style, but I’m a bit unsure about the logo. I’ve never bought a bag with that price tag, always just River Island or Accessorize.

The Lambeth does fit beautifully under the arm though which is a plus!

The full description for the KG bag says it comes with a second strap so you could swop it for a smarter look when you feel like it. I've seen the bag in a McArthur Glen outlet and preferred the black and white version.

Sorry, it looks like a freebie cosmetics bag that comes with purchases over £50.

I don't like it. Most of all I hate the strap which doesn't seem to go with the bag.

I like it but that colour could get stained quickly. I wouldn't buy a pale coloured bag personally.

I’d prefer to go with this one - the pink is peppier, the “branding” much more subtle, the shape is nicer than the Kurt Geiger. If no-one has already mentioned this if you have a TK Maxx near you go have a look in there, i've got some lovely cross body bags with a wide strap from there that are lovely brands and really good pricing.

I have one similar, it is a Pom Pom London one. I love it. It came with 3 straps, one leather and two fabric and a keyring.

OP, look at Fenella Smith for on-trend and non-tacky crossbody bags with wide straps.
Definitely don’t do Michael Kors. It’s had its day.

It's not my taste but I like the style, Pom pom London have similar with an array of colours

Not tacky, more a bit dated. Depends whether things being dated bothers you... sometimes I'm so dated I'm ahead of the next curve!

Are there any similar bags that doesn't have such bright hardware? I love the pom pom ones, but the bright zip doesn't appeal.

I like it but it looks really small even for a camera bag. I'd definitely stick to leather which I think Pom Pom are? I have just got back from holiday with my Mai Tui bag I have used possibly ten times and the faux leather is peeling on the handle. I'd rather bag one leather bag than 10 PU bags that will all eventually peel apart.

BTW I have a wide rainbow strap on my camera bag so I love tacky. If you love it, that's all that matters.

Its very pale and will pick up dirt very quickly.
And its small, only room for phone, keys, a couple of CC's and a pantyliner

The big labels all along the strap and the blingy logo label on the bag itself make it very tacky, yes.

A soft leather thick strap much nicer , well that’s my opinion & personal taste .

I quite like it and I think it would style up beautifully with any number of outfits…. I hear you on the comfort of the strap. Go for it, just because others think it middle aged or can’t imagine how to wear it, doesn’t mean you won’t make it look amazing

I got my crossbody bag from lily and bean, bit pricier but I absolutely love it and its great quality 😊
