Is this bag tacky?

I’ve had my eye on this bag for a while since the zip broke on my River Island cross body bag.

Basically I want a cross body bag with the wide strap as they are really comfy to wear.

I do like the colour/style, but I’m a bit unsure about the logo. I’ve never bought a bag with that price tag, always just River Island or Accessorize.

Sounds like the consensus is, some people think the logo strap is a bit tacky, and it doesn’t really look worth the price.

I am inclined to agree which is what has put me off. But I do think the logo straps can look nice depending on what you wear it with.

I was going to say that, I think it would be ok for the school run, shops, running errands, but not a best bag.

I do have a lovely chain strap bag but it’s not always the comfiest and my hair gets caught in the chain.

For some reason, I like this much more than the one OP posted.

I like it!! I am a bit of a handbag lover though!! Although I tend to go for the colourful and quirky ones!

have you tried Oliver Bonas? They do lots of similar bags to the linked, might work?

They also sell different straps so you can change them.

I like the bag and I normally like KG stuff too, pretty colour.

I don't like it and looks small, but I don't think is tacky. Informal yes, tacky no.

I was expecting something hideous. No I don't think it's tacky.

Good size and a lovely colour, not keen on a logo strap so that would put me off.
Plus the fact that every other mum at drop off is carrying a bag in that style, it’s part of the midi dress/new balance/denim jacket uniform that’s ubiquitous around here

Me too. I don't like logos. The Marc Jacobs one is horrendous. Nice bag ruined by the awful strap.

It’s a bit naff, but not terrible.

There are much nicer bags out there. These more modern and have wide straps.

I don't think it looks tacky and I have quite a low tolerance for tacky. Yes, you need a wide strap. I actually think chain straps can look tacky and overdone for an everyday bag.
