Is this bag tacky?

I’ve had my eye on this bag for a while since the zip broke on my River Island cross body bag.

Basically I want a cross body bag with the wide strap as they are really comfy to wear.

I do like the colour/style, but I’m a bit unsure about the logo. I’ve never bought a bag with that price tag, always just River Island or Accessorize.

yours is pleather though. I think the OP was hoping for leather.

I actually like this Michael Kors bag the most out of all the bags, however it still has a thin strap unfortunately.

I like it, but would rather black with silver rather than the gold. I love bags and have taken a liking to steve madden bags for every day use. There's a 60% sale on just now. Also amazon have some at good prices just now.

also check out Fat Face, they do fully leather camera bags in different colours that come with both the thick and the thin strap. And they have a sale on them atm.

I don't want to comment on the bag itself but if you don't really, really love it, keep looking. Your special bag is out there somewhere.

I think any garment with a logo on it is tacky. Why would you want to be a walking advertisement?

Not tacky, it’s not an offensive bag! Go for it if you will use it a lot.

i prefer the design of this one too. But it’s made of plastic and the OP’s is leather so they’re not really comparable.

Osprey and Aspinall have lots of these type of bag with wide strap. Both have good sales on currently. Oliver Bonas also good as others have said.

I don’t like personally. Obviously if you do, then get it. But I think you can get a similar, less tacky, version of this bag for cheaper

Not "tacky" exactly, but I don’t like it. I dislike ostentatious in-your-face branding, as if the designer is the most important thing about an item.

Yep, I really love the Marc Jacobs in white but the strap just screams “look at me I can afford a Marc Jacobs bag”

Looks like a decent, everyday bag to me. I'm not a big fan of the writing on the strap though.
Shame you can't get a better look at it coz it looks like the writing might be on one side only....not a problem if you can flip the strap!

TK MAXX has lots of those at the moment.
Probably not the same designer.

@Italianqueen the branding on the thick strap really lets the 'look' of the bag down.

I prefer recessive or no branding.

I got one similar from Pom Pom London. You get straps with it, but I put a guitar strap on it - nice and thick and comfy.
