I’m 27, and see my peers wearing things like this all the time, but I also feel like they’re not quite right 😂

I prefer the 327s, I just don't like that version at all, but they are popular with the younger ones.

CombatBarbie · 28/05/2025 17:50

Also an avid adidas campus fan, but I'm in my 40s 🤷🏼‍♀️

Btb · 28/05/2025 17:51

I purchased these and I found them too bulky I sent them back my other new balance trainers aren’t as bulky , if you like chunky trainers you’ll love them

327s are really nice and neat I have them I love them nearly as much as my adidas gazelles

JournalistEmily · 28/05/2025 18:10

I think these have been in so long they aren’t anymore. Also don’t like them!!

Laladance · 28/05/2025 18:18

Lovely trainers! I have a few in different colours and they are very fashionable, definitely not grandma trainers, I’m not sure why you would think that? Yes they were fashionable in the 90’s but that fashion has come right back around again. The adidas are also nice but you won’t find them nearly as comfortable as the NB.

Hazey19 · 28/05/2025 18:23

My 15 year old son wears these. They are really popular.

I know I'm in the minority here. But I just think they look like boats!

I agree, they look dreadful on that model, like a size 12.

anotherside · 28/05/2025 18:36

Funny I remember back in the early 00s(?) New Balance used to be considered and priced as a B Tier trainer brand. Now they’re as expensive as Nike etc.

ThatOlivePanda · 28/05/2025 18:46

You're mad, they're vile

Stressybetty · 28/05/2025 18:47

I'm 52 and love chunky suede Etnies trainers and the suede trainer boots they used to do. Probably not fashionable any more though.

OchAyeTheNo0 · 28/05/2025 18:49

327’s are the in ones around my neck of the woods.

Sockersandbox · 28/05/2025 18:58

Im 40 and have them in a different colourway

Howaboutnah · 28/05/2025 19:06

I think they're so ugly....but I have never been fashionable so what do I know 🙂

Bradleylj · 28/05/2025 19:09

They are so comfy

Catcooper25uk · 28/05/2025 19:12

I've got these ones from asos new balance and I love them they're so comfy and never let me down

chickenmashandgravy · 28/05/2025 19:32

I think they’re lovely 🤩 I would get them. They’re definitely not Nan trainers!

Melancholyflower · 28/05/2025 19:36

Hopefully I won't be accused of being ageist, but you are only 27 and most of the people replying are probably middle-aged (as am I), so don't be put off just because someone on here says the brown Adidas are horrible. Remember, nobody knows how anyone else on here dresses - whether they are cool, trendy, stylish or dress in any way similar to you, or how you would like to. There are some things, like some NB trainers, that my 20 something son likes and they don't appeal to me personally, but I know his peers would like them.
I actually really like the brown trainers, but I've always quite liked brown and am glad it's become more fashionable and more widely available.

DelphiniumDoreen · 28/05/2025 19:44

A colleague in her 20s has a pair.

I like them but they are very 90s.

MoominUnderWater · 28/05/2025 19:49

Yes, I also really like the brown adidas too and have been considering a pair.

Dodgyormymind · 28/05/2025 19:49

I’m 65, bought 530 to wear in Florida. Comfort from day one. Not keen on the brown though.

Mew2 · 28/05/2025 19:52

Personally I think newbalance 327's look better than these
Or what about some nike airforces alternatively....
My favourite running shoes currently are a hoka clifton 9's- really comfy for running and walking due to the toe spring (but remind me of MBT's which are silly- all the physios in the 2000s wore them in the hospital I trained in)....

BunnyEaster · 28/05/2025 19:56

These are almost identical to my favorite running trainers I've had for ten years. Mine are baby pink and white ( sludgy grey now).

CheeseWisely · 28/05/2025 19:58

I know the NB ones are very fashionable but I can’t get past them looking like the ones you’d keep in the shed for dog walking and gardening in the 90s Grin

Bradleylj · 28/05/2025 19:09

They are so comfy

Perfect!!
