Is it too early to talk about summer dresses?

Over the past couple of years I’ve bought a couple of gorgeous summer dresses that were shared on here.

I thought I’d start a thread to see what everyone is buying this year? I’ve looked around and not seen anything I really like yet. Maybe it’s too early. I’ve lost weight so I might go for shorter, fitted dresses rather than floaty ones to cover up my weight.

What do you tend to wear on your feet with dresses, I have sandals and pumps at the moment.

I have bought this, very comfortable and will be easy to wear. Probably completely unfashionable but I wouldn't know what's in fashion anyway!

I like that Joules dress, it does look very comfortable. Trying to work out whether it would skim over tummy area or just make me look pregnant (and I’m a bit old for that lol)

I like that it shows that movement is possible 😀

I am not slim (size 18) and it sits well on me and I don't look pregnant.
I bought it on the next website as easy for me to collect in store and do returns. I often try orders on in the fitting room. I have ordered the blue too as it just feels so nice.

I like to wear pretty sandals with summer dresses because the pedicure with gel nails they do at my hairdresser deserve an airing 🤣

Im one of those uncouth individuals who wears trainers or hi/low tops with my dresses....proper socks too!
I just have freezing cold feet for 90% of the year, not to mention the fact that I walk everywhere.
Honestly though if Im just walking the dog or pushing my shopping trolley to Sainsbury (in my floaty summer dress) why the heck wouldnt I be wearing trainers!?😆

I have just recently sold this dress ( new) it is lovely quality have a look on eBay or Vinted you might find it.

I fondly recall the days when I could clack around in a pair of mid heeled mules even when pregnant. Nowadays it's flats sadly

Went shopping, tried on loads of expensive dresses and bought this

I am absolutely delighted with it, plus I used their recycling scheme. It is so flattering. Makes me look really tall and slim. I bought it in S, I am a 10-12 and it it a lovely fit. I usually look like Bett Lynch in animal print, and I have to be careful with it but I'm well chuffed with it.

Well I was only going to buy one dress this year as we've got weekend breaks planned and I wanted one for Saturday nights out. I'd describe my stays boho and I love this one

Then I was in Tesco and saw a v neck tiered tencel, which is like a soft denim, dress. I talked myself out of buying it bit I was still thinking about it so I bought it a few days later.

this is the week to wear summer dresses! Amazing weather and turning hot by Friday

Warm not hot where I live. We have brilliant sunshine but 11 degrees here. Still coat weather.

Had the hood down on the car this morning was lovely.
