New thread. Woke (blooming cat) to find it’s nearly full.

Toast seemed to be adding stuff as I was browsing. However, I have signed out for now as I do not want to be putting loads on my cc unnecessarily.

Usually I try not to order more during a Toast sale until I have made any returns, but as it finishes on Monday, (no doubt at 12 noon), there’s no time to check for returns/order different sizes. I know there’s the option of contacting CS to try to buy something post-sale, but I haven’t had much luck with that!

Only just seen an email and am still at work!!! Don't buy everything before I get home!

@IlovePond I just went back in and ordered both colours of the cotton hemp tshirt in a large because all the reviews mention it's too fitted - hate fitted tshirts!

It does seem to be just a very small sale. So all I've ordered are the tshirts and the gabis which I was going to buy anyway

Surprising number of tees in the sale I thought - very happy about that!

Thanks for the update. Was going to order the Eden wool cardigan in pea green, had a S in my basket earlier but was busy at work and went back to checkout, it had already gone. Never mind, probably better for my bank account!

Missed the Gabis - again!

I was hoping that Toast would put on all the unsold stuff from the summer sale. I would have been happy with that as there were a few things that got away from me that I really wanted. However, this is such a small scale sale that it makes no sense to me.

There must be rooms - if not whole warehouses - full of unsold stock back at Toast HQ from previous collections/sales. Why not have a big clear out?

I suppose there is some logic somewhere.

Too slow for knitwear but got some linen I've had my eye on, I'm heading to Sri Lanka in February so it will at least get a sunny outing before next summer.

Because in my head I'm still a size 10, 5ft8 Elf. I'm not, I'm a menopausal barrel stomached 50something. Can I make it work with a chunky jumper or is it just going to make me sad.

I thought the same @IlovePond. There are items on my wishlist that were in the summer sale. They are showing as in stock, but I cannot add them to my basket, and they don’t appear in this sale. This happened with something previously - I could see it on my wishlist at the previous sale price, but it was not in the sale that was going on at the time. I contacted CS and they said they would set up an invoice because it was no longer on the website but was in stock. Why not put it in the sale so? I don’t get it.

There was very little knitwear wasn't there? I had my eye on the striped alpaca jumper from last winter but no luck. It's been truly autumnal here today in a monsoon sort of way so none of the dresses tempted me - great for all you holiday people though!

@TosstTastic I bought that dress from a sample sale to wear to a wedding. I'm 5 ft 7" and a 10-12 and despite thinking it looked good initially, I didn't end up wearing it as it was a bit too clingy and not really my style. It's a lovely length though.

I have had a look through and not bought anything. Helped by the fact I'm sat on the sofa and it's quite chilly in here 😁

Absolutely agree with everyone, with it being a cold autumn day the summery offerings are not at all tempting. Knitwear and more homeware though? I could yet be swayed if there are additions!

@ScottishMouse - the ways of Toast are too shrouded in mystery for us mere mortals to comprehend 😹I am still coming to terms with its idiosyncrasies, despite having shopped there for a while now!

Thanks for the nudge @faustina Obviously it was the busiest day of the last couple of weeks but I did manage to order a tshirt, the bosabo suede clogs, the patchwork print cotton shirt which will be good for work and the indigo cotton trousers. I don't have high hopes for them as most reviews say the waistband is small and uncomfortable despite being elastic but as I'm addicted to all things indigo twill I just have to give them a go!!

Is anyone going to the styling event in Cheltenham tomorrow morning?? If so, I'll see you there!!!

Has anybody experienced variation in the sizing of the Fracap Ola? I just ordered a black pair but now I am reading reviews and lots of them say to size up? I already have a pair and didn’t size up, but wondering if the black ones are different?
