I think there was one a few months/weeks back but can't find it, so apologies if doubling up.
What perfume are you wearing today?
I will wear Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur in hope it will actually be warm today.

Today is a Michael Kors sexy Ruby day i rarely ever reach for this perfume but its actually really nice I need to sort out my perfumes give them all a spray again and start using mire of the ones I haven't used in a while

QueefofSheena · 06/12/2024 10:44

Acqua di Parma Luce di Rosa today. It opens quite peppery but has settled into a softer floral on me

Millymollymine · 06/12/2024 10:45

@happytobemrsg
I wear perfume even when at home - either my absolute faves to cheer me up or I use home days sometimes to try out new scents or some I’ve maybe not used for a while. Couldn’t go a day without smelling of something 🤣

IDontHateRainbows · 06/12/2024 10:47

To add to my small (1.5/2ml) collection I've ordered the Sana Jardin discovery kit + tiger by her side 10ml
They have offers on at the moment for anyone interested

Haven't had too much from this brand before but enjoyed the sandalwood temple in the recent liberty beauty drop.

MiaN · 06/12/2024 10:47

Not a waste, perfume had the ability to change his I feel and that's why I like to wear perfume for myself. I don't want to offend anyone with me smell obviously but it at home so day I can wear anything I feel like

Millymollymine · 06/12/2024 10:47

Thanks to this thread I am building up perfume recommendations - does such a website exist that has every perfume on it so you can create a favourites list? As I’ve some in basket on space nk, some in liberty ect but would like to have all in one place? How do you all keep track of your favourites/want to buy’s?

IDontHateRainbows · 06/12/2024 10:50

happytobemrsg · 06/12/2024 10:34

Do you all wear perfume even if you’re staying home? Wondering if it’s a waste but I do love catching a whiff of it throughout the day…

Oh definitely! Home is experiment time, plus I can overspritz to my hearts content. I do sometimes get the Alexa saying 'air quality in your home recently changed to poor' when I've overdone it.

fragrantica seems to be the most popular, where you can build your perfume wardrobe, add your notes, but also post/read reviews etc. Some people like using spreadsheet to track their testing - that's my plan for January.

I use Sniff App.

its database isn’t as extensive as fragrantica. But it’s far more usable, imo. And it’s still quite young.

They are adding fragrances and brands everyday and they have a great competition running up to Christmas. Giving away perfumes.

hughiedoesntfight · 06/12/2024 12:51

Hera Reigns today. I really like it. First full wear test.

It's lovely, isn't it.

It's lovely, isn't it.

It is. It’s not usually something I would have gone for looking at the notes. It’s one of the reasons I like mixed sets. Gets me out of sticking to the same things.

Stowickthevast · 06/12/2024 14:38

I'm wearing Hinoki Fantome by Boy Smells today. The reviews on Fragrantica are pretty scathing but I quite like it!

Lurkingshark · 06/12/2024 15:38

SOTD Irish leather by Memo. It’s quite different for me - I get the leather but also something herbally. It is very strong initial but quite nice and long lasting and a bit sweet.. I’m off to google it. Other half loves it.

After only wearing perfume on nice occasions I’ve been everyday for the last 5 years or so. Cheers me right up!

happytobemrsg · 06/12/2024 16:30

Glad to see it’s ok to wear perfumes when I’m just at home. I’m on mat leave atm so that’s pretty much where I stay 😂

Im going to download that sniff app, thanks @hughiedoesntfight

SOTD is Halfeti which is beautiful. It’s so smooth & I keep sniffing my wrist. It’s love ❤️

Looks like we will need a new thread soon….

AprilLady · 06/12/2024 16:54

@happytobemrsg I always wear perfumes at home, and like that I have only myself to please since DH had a very poor sense of smell.

SOTD is Dries van Noten Soie Malaquais, from last year’s Selfridges advent calendar. I haven’t worn it for a while and I’m not sure why - it’s beautiful.

I always wear them. Even put one on for bed.

Cant wait for the post Christmas discounts to start. I have my wish list on Sniff ready and waiting.

nearly61 · 06/12/2024 17:48

SOTD Ianthe Oud again -trying it on a stay at home day and have to say I'm beginning to love it! Very soft scent now it's the end of the day, very happy with this.

IDontHateRainbows · 06/12/2024 18:05

Finished the day with Memo Marfa. Sweeter than i usually go for, but i had some from a gwp last year that i found.

Luckily the gypsy water had in usual Byredo fashion worm off after a couple of hours leaving me free to put something else on.

Cantonet · 06/12/2024 18:29

I'm finishing off the end of a bottle of Vintage Private Collection. It was a lovely sunny smell this morning on a totally grim morning with lots of oakmoss & blossom.

Iandhd23 · 06/12/2024 18:45

@AprilLady oo please tell me more about Soie Malaquais! I’ve heard good things about it before but could you describe the scent profile?

MiaN · 06/12/2024 19:21

I met today and we sniffed few things around the shops. She hated Frederic Malle Acne Studios, the one smelling like fresh laundry/clean shower. She doesn't like Valaya, or Gris Charnel. But liked Goldfiels and Banks Ingenious Ginger and loved Pacific Rock Moss. She loves Orange Bitters Jo Malone, and I just like it.

I passed on few of my le labo33 type of advent finds to her, maybe she will get use of them.

I enjoyed wearing VB Portofino today

MiaN · 06/12/2024 19:22

Fragancia you can add current collect, past collection and wish list, as well as currently testing

Commonsense22 · 06/12/2024 19:33

Mon Paris by YSL today.

Iandhd23 · 06/12/2024 20:27

This evening I’m testing Orchidee Vanille by Van Cleef & Arpels.
