I think there was one a few months/weeks back but can't find it, so apologies if doubling up.
What perfume are you wearing today?
I will wear Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur in hope it will actually be warm today.

The ones which I have worn for years and replenish are Chanel Cristalle, Annik Goutal Eau d'Hadrien, Joseph Parfum de Jour and a recent find, Romilly Wilde Idle. Though very different, I love them all.

LightandBreezy · 03/12/2024 08:54

I've only ever repurchased 2 bottles of perfume - Dune Dior over 20 years ago, and Le Labo Rose 31- I did mean to buy a 3rd bottle of this as I ran out about 3 years ago but still haven't got round to it and have bought so many minis in the meantime I'll want to reduce the stash before I do. I got a second bottle of Lumiere Doreé that was a lovely gift and it's a very easy going scent so I still like wearing that in summer. The current 100mls I have are TF Neroli Portofino, won't repurchase, I've had this bottle over 10 years and I just don't ever seem to reach for it, Portrait Of a Lady, so incredibly powerful the 100 mls will last me into my dotage, Byredo Baudelaire, now discontinued so can't repurchase but wouldn't have done anyway and then finally Byredo 1996 - I thought this was one I'd repurchase but post-covid it just smells a bit odd to me, very synthetic and jarring.

SOTD is delina by PDM. It’s too much for me and I love a rose. Possibly the rhubarb or lychee from looking it up online. I’ll see how it fairs but glad to cross it off

hughiedoesntfight · 03/12/2024 09:32

SOTD is Goldfield & Banks Silky woods. I tried daily woods elixir last week and hated it. But this is really nice! See how it wears across the day.

@Lurkingshark i am not a Delina fan either. Though I haven’t tried the exclusif.

I have some samples coming from Jovoy today. So excited to try them.

MiaN · 03/12/2024 09:43

My Delina is the Rosee version, it's very soft and pretty.

QueefofSheena · 03/12/2024 11:15

Witchy Woo for me today. I can’t really smell it on my wrists now, after an hour, but I also sprayed my jumper which I can smell. I quite like it but I prefer The Sixth.

I wish I could remember the name of a perfume I loved and repurchased in the 90’s. My mum used to say it smelled like parsnips, so not a ringing endorsement!

AprilLady · 03/12/2024 11:25

Felt like something a bit different today, so it’s Le Labo Poivre 23. This is one Le Labo which does live up to its name - very peppery. But I also usually get a slightly smoky slightly sweet warmth from it, which isn’t coming through yet.

I do think the pricing of the Le Labo city exclusives is a bit ridiculous - bought this only when I got a good deal at Heathrow duty free.

Mackemlass79 · 03/12/2024 14:08

One of my favourites for me today and oldie but a good one in my opinion anyway gucci bamboo

paristotokyo · 03/12/2024 14:12

Funnily enough my sotd is delina also. Totally not my usual type of scent but I really like it. It's very pretty, fruity and sweet. I get a lot of sweetness from the lychee and a hint of rose.

psuedocream3 · 03/12/2024 14:19

Exciting day here, had TF Lost Cherry and Killians Angels Share arrived today.

SOTD ended up being Lost Cherry, I'm feeling unwell and fancy smelling delicious. I quite like it, very similar to Kayali Burning Cherry, better scent psyoff. More focus on the almond which I prefer.

QueefofSheena · 03/12/2024 15:01

My 10ml Angel’s Share arrived but I’m giving it to myself for Christmas 😁

The perfume I’ve been trying to remember that I repurchased a lot in the 90’s was Tuscany per Donna by Aramis. I think EL reformulated it a few years back but I haven’t tried it.

Stowickthevast · 03/12/2024 16:04

I've rebought two Frederic Malle's but that was going from 10ml to 50ml - Portrait of A Lady and Synthetic Jungle. In my 20s, I also had a couple of favorites - Issy Miyake and Flower Bomb.

Wearing L'interdit today, it's fine but I prefer other white florals.

paristotokyo · 03/12/2024 16:07

@happytobemrsg enjoy your new perfume 😍 I like halfeti a lot

psuedocream3 · 03/12/2024 18:56

@Stowickthevast Oh that is interesting, Flowerbomb was my previous go to and in younger years used Issey Miyake as an alternate. I will have to check out some of your favourites as we may have similar preferences.

MiaN · 03/12/2024 19:03

Back to my favourite bedtime scent tonight - Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille. I didn't think I will end up enjoying it as much as i do when I got it in las year SpaceNK advent.

Interesting, I have the exfoliating body wash of that - haven't tried it yet.

IDontHateRainbows · 03/12/2024 19:17

Spritzed some Mumbai Noise on when I got home - being away from it for a while makes such a difference - it smells really strong, deep and oud-y now, whereas before I could barely smell it at all. Clearly I had a bad case of nose blindness and god only knows how much I was stinking out the area around myself, oblivious. Thank god I never had the courage to wear it to work. Clearly only an occasional scent for me if I want to avoid the dreaded nose blindness!

happytobemrsg · 03/12/2024 19:29

My perfume journey…

When I first got into perfume I fell hard for V&R Flowerbomb. I wore that daily for about 7 years including on my wedding day.

I got Louis Vuitton Rose Des Vents for my 30th & I wore that daily for about 3 years but then I got a bit bored & lost my way. Would alternate between those two & Zara’s Cashmere Rose.

Last year I bought Jo Malone Poppy & Barley as a treat & wore that daily. I stopped wearing it when my son was born late May as he was premmie & I did a lot of skin to skin. I’ve got about half a bottle left but I feel a bit bored of it now.

Bought Halfeti yesterday (whoop!) & I’m getting JM Velvet Rose & Oud for Christmas. I love both but I think the way forward is to have a few fragrances I absolutely LOVE to alternate so I don’t get bored & still get that feeling when I wear them. I want to smell my wrist & think “yum”. I don’t know anything about the notes in perfumes but Halfeti really gives me that feeling. If anyone would have any recommendations on what else I might like I’d love to hear it!

littleteapot86 · 03/12/2024 19:43

Today was Merit "Retrospect"... quite an old lady type fragrance but I love it.

I have the body cream of that as well as the scent, might put it on my bedside table

I like to do my feet, elbows and hands before bed!

I used to love Flowerbomb too but not tried Issey Miyake

IDontHateRainbows · 04/12/2024 07:45

Kayali vanilla 28 today for me. Used to love Kayali but think my tastes have changed and these are generally very sweet, simple scents...nothing wrong with that but my nose is craving more complexity! Wasn't too impressed with the vanilla obsession set so will put all of those on ebay with the exception of vanilla 28 which is still OK, and blends nicely with some of my other scents.

Millymollymine · 04/12/2024 08:10

Fugazzi parfum 1 today from the cult beauty gwp scent bag - wow - I think I smell like the christmas section of a garden centre - think its the orange and pine…. Hope it settles down- my first instinct is I don’t like it but remember when I first tried it a few hours later I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrist so will see how it goes…..

IDontHateRainbows · 04/12/2024 08:15

I find Fugazzi scents overpowering - and that's coming from an oversprayer who gets noseblind on a lot of things!
Mixed the vanilla 28 with a bit of MM by the fireplace - they go well together so maybe mixing the vanilla 28 is the way to go. It goes well with Mumbai Noise but not brave enough to wear that today - office day. I hope I haven't overdone it on the by the fireplace - I wore that to work a couple of years ago and had someone comment on it but not in a good way!

MiaN · 04/12/2024 08:27

Nothing yet, I am burning very sweet candle in my office room and that's enough scent around me. I could change my mind later!
