I think there was one a few months/weeks back but can't find it, so apologies if doubling up.
What perfume are you wearing today?
I will wear Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur in hope it will actually be warm today.

So dp sprayed vanilla powder on himself. A couple of hours before he showered.

He sprayed one pump. And it’s so strong. I can smell the vanilla. But only a bit. I find it very musky and coconutty. More than vanilla.

Its ok. Not stunning.

Dp for a shower and he uses soap then shower gel with and African net sponge, so really scrubs himself and it’s still on his hand. He sprayed it about 7 hours ago.

If I was wearing it, would definitely be very sparingly sprayed. Not sure it’s for me though. I will give it a full wear test.

I love Angel dust. Cashmere jumper of a fragrance is such a good description. Really glad I have the full bottle. I got the extrait so definitely one to, also, use sparingly.

My actual scent of the day was Sana Jardin, Vanilla Nomad. Nice, very benzoin heavy...

It really is such a great fragrance. Just one I don’t reach for. I have enjoyed wearing it today. Lasts really well.

That said, teenage ds does, so it’s getting used.

I also like that it’s refillable. More brands should do refillable ones.

No problem. Honestly, I can’t believe how beast mode it is. Definitely wouldn’t wear it for a board meeting or anything where I was sitting close to people.

I could smell dp from feet away. Then once he had his shower it wasn’t projecting as much but still there if I got close.

Is the Coveted Duchess Rose in your set? That's way less fresh, you may like it better.

Babylon's drydown is so good. I really enjoy it

Blackberry and bay jo malone for me today been to salon so didn't want anything over powering and this is strong for about the first 5 mins and in typical jm fashion it fades rather quickly tho not completely

I sell on ebay and what I'd say is - check the seller feedback and also how long they have been a seller. Only buy from well established business sellers with more than 99% positive feedback and you'll be fine. If by any chance you're not - Ebay are pretty good and refunding any fakes, that's if the seller doesn't refund you straight away if challenged.

If your fear is more that perfumes will have been used - well you always run the risk that the seller has had a cheeky spritz. But if its definitely used when it's supposed to be new you just claim under buyer protection

I like the car scent hangers that Ds and Durga do but unfortunately haven't been that keen on the actual scents they do these in - think they have gone for the 'manly' appeal but forgetting that actually women own cars too and therefore may want a more feminine car scent.

@happytobemrsg to add to the comments above about buying on eBay, I think it is possible, but exercise extreme care. So

• be very wary of pricing that seems to good to be true, it probably is
• be wary of anything that says it comes from odd countries overseas
• aslo be wary if all there is is a stock photo rather than the perfume itself.
• but perfumes at good prices that have recently appeared in advent calendars or beauty gift sets of some sort are very likely to be real, and the result of buyers trying to offload and/or make a profit.

You can also always ask for more photos to check it looks legit, and also ask where it was purchased (though sellers can lie, you can usually tell if what they say is plausible)

I didn't get much out of my fanta scent today I have to say. It's just ok, I may decide to let this one go as bathroom scent I tested Sisley L'Eau Rêvée d'Hubert. It's odd one - vicks vibe at the start, smoother and more perfumy but strong mint blast. Another one I wouldn't buy and wouldn't want to wear all day but if I need a boost of mint to keep me awake after 3 pm, this is good sub for mint tea.

As a genuine seller I always offer to provide a (personal details redacted) proof of purchase if buyer is in any doubt. So this is something else a wary buyer can ask for ( no obligation on seller to provide, but why wouldn't they?)

I got some samples from the Fragrance Samples site in small sizes - it's a good way to find out what you like or don't like :)

Hi everyone. I’ve just found this thread and so happy that I have!
This evening I’m trying out ristretto intense cafe by Montale - it’s a really pretty rose, coffee and vanilla-ey fragrance to my nose. So far it’s quite sweet but a really pretty rose (and I’m not usually a fan of rose scents!).

Ooh that sounds like exactly what I would like! May I ask was it part of a discovery set or an advent calendar?

I actually ordered a few 2ml samples from a website called small aromas.

I sprayed the perfume about half an hour ago and the rose was quite strong in the opening but much less so now and is blended really nicely with the coffee and vanilla.

I highly recommend small aromas if you’re looking to order specific samples. The customer service is great and my order came really quickly. They also have samples of quite a few fragrances I couldn’t find when looking at places like Fragrance Samples UK.

Bedtime scent.tonight is vyrao mamajuju mixed with hera Reigns
Combines quite well with the sweetness of the mamajuju balancing out the sharpness of the hera.

I forgot how much I love Connock Kukui until I wore it today. So unique and so lovely to have had two people ask me what I was wearing!

I find myself debating of I want to wear something to help me feel the way I want to feel vs getting most of my seasonal perfumes today.

I am going to go with VB Portofiono. It screams summer to me when I am wearing it in cold months but somehow it feels much better in cold months, easy too stong for me for summer.

Byredo Gypsy Water from the grand discovery set today. I'm getting citrus with a hint of pepper. Nice, but nothing I'm desperate to buy more of.
