I think there was one a few months/weeks back but can't find it, so apologies if doubling up.
What perfume are you wearing today?
I will wear Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur in hope it will actually be warm today.

Baccarat Rouge

Icequeen01 · 30/08/2024 08:35

Pure Musc by Narciso Rodriguez. I love this scent so much. Came across it by chance a couple of years ago in John Lewis when I was testing scents as I could no longer buy my favourite at the time, Issy Mikaye's Florale, as it had been discontinued. I've never worn a scent which so many people have commented on.

As soon as I put it in on it somehow makes me feel calm and content.

I dont think it was a big seller and many people disliked it because it was quite 'different'.

SOTD is Pink Me Up Atelier des Ors

Absolutely. Nothing like a ‘mainstream’ Gucci scent. I adore it though. Evocative of an old, highly polished library with windows wide open onto a sun drenched camomile lawn. Heavenly.

Oh Maybe you all can help me. I wear two on rotation (Dune and l'eau d'Issey) but they are both summery. What recommendations would you have for winter? Not floral. I'm going to France next week so could get something in duty free.

Pennyplant19 · 30/08/2024 08:46

Ooooh, I love these posts, I've discovered some wonderful fragrances on these! I love Baccarat Rouge, but wear the Eden dupe. Today I'm wearing another dupe by Eden of Jo Malone Earl Grey and Cucumber.

Firstly I always say it, perfume knows no seasons and it's a bit of a marketing ploy. But if you'd like something a bit heavier/spicier for colder weather (also what budget?), maybe
Dior Addict
Bianco Latte
Vanilla Diorama Dior
Samsara
La Petite Robe Noire
YSL Babycat

There are now so many dupes of BR and most better than the original!
I find Zara's (many!) creations on the theme quite good, have you tried their recent collection? The Red Temptation Winter and Red Remptation Vanilla are really nice.

JSP Body mist - Lovely. Just the thing on a hot day!

AlaskaThunderfuckHiiiiiiiii · 01/09/2024 15:42

Just a wee Avon one for me today. Today, tomorrow, always everlasting

geminiflanagan · 01/09/2024 15:49

L'Artisan Parfumeur Tea for Two - am eeking out the last 1/3 of a bottle and just needed a nice cosy one today as it was raining...slight misfire as it has turned out to be 24° but its still lovely!

evtheria · 01/09/2024 15:51

I've sprayed on 'Musc Nude' by Narciso Rodriguez, it was a recent free sample. It's ok. Wouldn't buy a bottle, personally.

Pieceofpurplesky · 01/09/2024 17:00

Inis today. I love it as it smells so fresh

MissBattleaxe · 01/09/2024 17:12

Another Seventies one- First by Van Cleef and Arpels. I have a big bottle and I love it all year round. A floral, ambery chypre: opulent and feminine.

Rosemarypots · 01/09/2024 18:12

Contradiction - Calvin Klein. I keep being drawn back to it. More of an autumn / winter perfume for me, but I'm getting autumnal vibes, even though it's ended up being a very warm day.

Tulipsareredvioletsarebue · 22/09/2024 19:48

Seems September is not a very scented month here!

I was wearing Shay and Blue Cotton Flower.

Lacoste Femme. I’ve almost finished the bottle so might repurchase.

Pacifica dream moon

Deathraystare · 26/09/2024 14:49

An oldie but goodie from Amazon. Lentheric - Panache. A cheapie too!

evtheria · 27/09/2024 11:21

Today I am trying out a sample I got in the post:
Dries Van Noten 'Camomile Satin'
Not one of my usual kind of scents, but it's pleasant enough and suits the soft, oversized jumper I'm wearing.
I requested a sample of their basil one, I love green herby fragrances, but don't think I'll get that :(

spikeandbuffy · 27/09/2024 11:50

Glossier You for today

MangoLove · 27/09/2024 14:03

This feels like a thread I'd love to get involved in - I love to smell nice - but also love when someone walks past me and smells lovely.

I cant say I have a favourite fragrance, I love so many and truly feel like smelling sweet some days and oudy on others, I recently bought the Kayali - Yum Pisatchio Gelato - and love it. (Also bought the Vanilla and Lovefest Burning Cherry from them too. All very different, but love all 3)

Today I am wearing YSL Libre

Lobelia123 · 27/09/2024 14:08

Sisley Soir de Lune....its very evocative and true to its meaning - "moonlit evening". Makes me feel mysterious and other worldly :) I just love it! And not many people wear it which is even better as i feel like its mine (I know thats ridiculous!)

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 27/09/2024 14:10

Shazam!
