Have had the exfoliated, moisturised and slender baton passed to me tonight so here is the new thread as requested!
Hmmmm, I think the rules are:

  • Early bed, by 10.30pm if poss
  • staying off booze if possible, weekends exempt
  • Five a day and a healthy diet
  • Exercise - lots of us are ignoring using an Omron pedometer to attempt a good number of steps
  • Loving our trotters, most of us use Flexitol and a chisel
  • Taking care of our skin with 2l of water a day and a skincare routine (Liz Earle and Eve Lom high on many lists)
  • Staying happy

Welcome Iamdingdong, I saw you trundling through the Alps with Eric Sykes this afternoon (slacker's confession time, ds, dd and I watched Monte Carlo or Bust ) and all other newcomers

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and is ready to wrestle Holy Week kicking and screaming to the ground until it begs for mercy!

L&S - ?????

This poor weather is not helping bootcamp is it? I'm hardly spending any time outdoors and I hate being cooped up.

Managed horribly busy Saturday quite well. DD2 won a silver cup for most points in the Horticultural Show Children's section. DD1 most put out as she got it last year! DS1 not fussed, he had 2 x 2nds and won a whopping £1.50 so very pleased! None of them lifted the enormous art trophy that we usually get. (But less silver to clean!)

Food & water was quite good but not as much fruit and raw veg as usual - there are no carrots in the house !!

And I still have a completely blocked up nose which is really making me puff like the Little Red Train.

Note posting just before the allotted bedtime

Still no L&S? Bless her. Hope you have little L&S in your arms by now.

No nice weather for you today Norks? Lovely here - been on my fave run (well a bit of it is a walk/scramble/vertical climb up 100 sone steps) but fab views and then a lovely 10 minute downhill and a twenty minute flat bit.

All body bits done but still amiss on the water. I need iv to get my full ration I think.

Blocked nose - I use menthol crystals Norks.

Good to have some compliments Batters.

Blimey, it's good to be home!

Holland was lovely. Site was fab - woodlands, lake, safari park, caravan was tiny, but we knew that, and the little bit of snow was lovely ("It's just like Narnia!" cried both DS2+3).

DS3 throwing up wasn't so much fun, especially when just as we thought he was ok, he started again. And then again, this afternoon.

May FIL was right to tell DH we should be staying at home decorating instead of taking the boys on holiday...

Now, just need to catch up on what's being going on in RL, on MN. Anything excited happened locally saggars??

Anyhoo, holiday bootcampwise:

  • Early nights - pretty much, although disturbed. Was sooo good to sleep in my own bed last night!
  • No booze, apart from the odd sip of amstell, until DH bought me a much-needed bottle of vino the first day DS3 was poorly. Was kind enough to share it with him though, lol.
  • Five a day and a healthy diet. Didn't manage the five a day, but I always eat so much better when I'm on holiday, even with limited resources.
  • Gentle strolls and swimming every day except the one.
  • Loving our trotters, lax.
  • Taking care of our skin with 2l of water a day and a skincare routine - not sure I drank enough, but I buttered myself up regularly after the swimming sessions.
  • Staying happy. Aside from DS3's illness, we've had a pretty good week, but it is good to be home.

Still no news from L&S then?
