I wonder if they’ll backpedal on this or just pretend it was never mentioned. Surely they won’t just disregard.

I just read the comments too, and the 'reply' which they repeated several times and then gave up on. Anyway, thanks to ToastcosIloveit (?) we now know they def read this thread, so hopefully they'll get the message. It would be nicer to offer some kind of discount for a donation. Everyone else does!

It's a shame if the sizing is even smaller this season. Kat did say she sized up because she wanted that dress to be oversized so maybe it's not so tiny in her regular size? However much it's 'just a number' it is depressing to have to order a bigger size though

Anyway, all this tweaking, and the sizes are still very much all over the place and there are definitely quality issues - if they could sort out those things they would save a TON of money - and miles on returns, however efficient they are at doing refunds etc

Thank you @OftenOrange . Rather amusingly Saltwater just sent me an email offering £10 off any sandals 😀It's BRINGBACKSUMMER and it lasts until Aug 1st if anyone wants it.

It is odd that they are so good at some aspects of making and selling nice things and then come with these ideas that just shouldn't have left the initial brainstorm stage.

What was the gist of Toast’s reply on Instagram ?

I am so frustrated over Toast’s sizing problems and some quality issues, plus the failure to consider people with bigger busts. I really hated the ordering/sending back, anxiously waiting for refunds cycle of the last sale. (I am still waiting for some refunds despite sending stuff back very very promptly.)

I also felt very guilty about returning so much, given the environmental impact, (not to mention that my cc company must have been wondering what was going on!)

I am looking forward to visiting SM mid August when I can actually try stuff on! I will also try to get to a shop before then to try a few things on so I can check sizes ahead of a future sale. (I will NOT be giving Toast my clothes to resell whilst there 😂)

At least it's voluntary, because it's only a smidge away from paying Toast full price for the temporary use of their garments which they expect to be returned to them!

Thanks @mizu - that’s a definite ‘rowback’ and rewriting of history from the email this morning which basically said:

’Do carry on bringing your old tat to ‘Circle’, but start giving us your good stuff for free so we can sell it and keep 90% of the profit!’

@neveradullmoment99 did you know you can send your repairs to them (a shop that does it) and then get them send back? I think you’d have to pay but just for the postage?

@Noodle421 - he has actually just messaged me and said I can have them back if I send him a returns label! All this fuss for a pair of sandals!!

Shall I tell hm to send them to Toast for the good of their profit margin all Mankind? 😁
