SOTN is Samsara, heady jasmine and powdery sandalwood - my weapons to repel this awful humidity.

@Thereislightattheendofthetunnel hope you are feeling better I couldn't wear fragrance for years due to migraines. Thankfully the menopause saw them off, for good I hope.

SOTD JHAG Anyway. It's not my favourite from this house but I enjoy it occasionally.

SOTE Zara Bohemian Bluebell, a slightly less earthy version of Penhaligon's Bluebell. It's nice but it has poor longevity, unfortunately.

Back from Greece and found my Perfume society summer box had arrived. Today I'm wearing JHAG Lust for Sun, which seems apt!
It's been on a couple of hours and I can barely smell it. It's pleasant enough but not a keeper.

SOTD is either going to be Jardin de Misfah by Une Nuit Nomade, or Hydra Figue by Miller Harris.

I’m not sure if I want to lean into or away from the heat.

Went for Hydra Figue by Miller Harris. It’s a very fresh, herby and salty fig.

I’ve long struggled with marine notes because I really want to like them, but I rarely do. This one doesn’t blast you with them, they’re smoothly blended so not at all scratchy and screechy like marine can be (looking at you, 90s Calone-dominant perfumes). It’s beautifully balanced and a great fresh/clean summer scent. I blind bought this, and the gamble paid off.

SOTD Limanakia by Pierre Guillaume. Another fantastic summer scent. Salty skin, sun-bleached rocks and beachy woods, tanning lotion. Makes me long for a proper holiday!

L artisan parfumeur's Fleur de liane is Sotd. Salty humidity off the Pacific, Green Bougainvillea on the balcony & freshly mopped wooden floors. A very personal memory.

@DramaAlpaca thanks so much for your well wishes. I am feeling better today but whenever I get a migraine I have to stay away from perfumes. At other times I am fine and they are the trigger so I try to be as careful as I can.

Today I went to M & S and tried Monotheme camelia. Very pretty simple perfume. This is my SOTD.

SOTD Kierin NYC 10am Flirt, a lovely green woody fig gardenia scent, sharp to begin with but softens over time.
I've just finished a bottle so off to buy some more.

@Thereislightattheendofthetunnel have you tried any of the other Monotheme scents?
I have my eye on Tuberose. It smells divine.

@TracyBeakerSoYeah Indeed! Tuberose is super rich and fragrant. Might be too heavy for hot weather though. But if you like tuberose you won’t be disappointed.

I own several Monotheme fragrances which I have been lucky to find in TKmaxx sometimes.
My favourite though is apotheose of rose.

@TracyBeakerSoYeah If you like 10am Flirt, you’d probably also like Miller Harris Wander - I found them very similar. I think they may be by the same perfumer.

Sotd is a drop d’Issey. Beautiful solar lilac that reminds me of the actual flower!
