I have only just found this thread. Please excuse the fact that I haven't read the whole thing, but can anyone recommend a trustworthy online shop? Got my fingers burned with amazon when the perfume I bought was fake and smelled horrid.

Try misterscent.co.uk - I found him when looking for discontinued frags and ones I can’t currently get in the UK and I’ve been really impressed. He makes them himself.

I’ve also approached him about making some clones of other scents I can’t get hold of that he doesn’t currently make, and he’s been happy to look into and do them. Really nice seller, and his perfumes I’ve found to be very accurate so far. I plan on testing more from him solely because I’ve had such a good experience.

I’ve heard good things about KDJ Inspired, and Alexandra Fragrances too. Admittedly I haven’t tried any from either, but they seem to consistently appear as recommendations for good clone houses. Also Montagne and Perfume Parlour.

Some clones seems to be hit and miss, so do your research first. Look at the subreddit /fragranceclones - it’s insanely helpful, especially the constantly updated spreadsheets matching perfumes to their best clones:

SOTD is Suki Essence by Weil. Citrus, dates, and incense settling into a woody/spicy gourmand amber. Reminds me of being in Istanbul at Hafiz Mustafa confectionary.

@endofthelinefinally if you are looking for genuine fragrances rather than clones, but want to avoid paying full retail, the following sites are worth looking at:

• notino
• all beauty
• escentual (but wait for their periodic offer of 25% off site wide. Happens about once every 2 or 3 months).

I have bought from all three and am confident the products are completely genuine. TK Maxx is always worth a look too.

Also watch for periodic sales from the usual retailers. For example, House of Fraser are currently selling all their Goutal perfumes half price.

@endofthelinefinally I second Notino, I find them very good. Also Parfum Dreams and Perfume-Click. All reliable and I've never had any issues with purchases not being genuine. Notino is my usual first port of call.

All of you wearing 4160 Tuesdays scents have inspired me to order their bestsellers sample set!

Probably not long in my case 😂 I really don't do well in heat like this. Plus, the cosy, smoky, spicy and warm family is my real fragrant home. Although, I have to say, this past week is probably the first time I've been properly warm this year. ☀️

SOTD yesterday was Miss Dior Originale. Today it's Ambre Orient.

SOTD is 4160T Rhubarb and Citrus Cologne. Can only wear this when DH isn't around as he really, really doesn't like it, says it smells like weed! I love it though, so bright and zingy. I'm not good with citruses usually, but the rhubarb in this makes it much more wearable, and longer lasting.

@TakeYourHatOffBoy My DP says exactly the same thing about Rhubarb & Citrus! I really like it though.

Weird isn't it @CorneliaStreet? Obviously I have absolutely no idea what weed smells like though 😇

SOTD Rosaine Dusita- as my roses have finally bloomed. This the first day I've had time to enjoy the sun, so nice to be in my garden rather than a stuffy office. Until this week it's not been that warm where I am.

Very hot where I am at the moment, which means anything I put on is disappearing even more quickly than usual.

SOTD this morning was Penhaligon’s Luna
SOTD this afternoon is Floral Street Sunflower Pop. I got a 10ml travel size in an advent calendar last year, and put it away thinking it would be good for summer. Forgot about it until today - it is indeed a bright, citrussy slightly fizzy summer scent. It’s also, so far, the only Floral Street scent I actually like.

SOTD is Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Azur.

I’ve been umming and ahhing since the last thread, but I bit the proverbial bullet and ordered Rahat Loukoum by Lutens. Now I’m going to be curtain twitching the postman for the next few days.
