just that really! What have you had that has made a real difference, what have you had that you thought never again

OP posts:
Chicci1 · 01/01/2023 07:57

In the never again category - Profhilo. Really expensive, painful and no noticeable difference at all.

SuffolkBargeWoman · 01/01/2023 08:03

Really wowed me, CACI. Every 3 weeks for 6 years. Consistency is key.
Also coolsculpt, but it doesn't work for everyone.
Wouldn't bother again, most facials, can do the same myself at home.

LibbyL92 · 01/01/2023 08:29

Liz Earle hot cloth cleanse. When I go for periods of time not using it I really can tell.

also Kheils ultra face cream is another go to.

ginislife · 01/01/2023 09:01

Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream. Expensive but changed my skin. I gave it up for a while whilst on an economy drive but I've gone back to it.

RabitWhole · 01/01/2023 09:15

Hydrafacial. Immediate and visible results. Costs about £120 at the clinic I go to, have about 2/3 a year, completely worth every penny

Lovemylittlebear · 01/01/2023 09:20

Micro blading (from someone who’s style I really like) defined but look natural. Game changed my face.

DillDanding · 01/01/2023 09:26

Botox. Nothing else freshens me up like it.

At home - a Solawave wand with red light therapy. I am thrilled with this as it has made a broken capillary I’ve had on my face for 2 years (a result of a flare up of rosacea), disappear.

www.boots.com/the-ordinary-organic-virgin-sea-buckthorn-fruit-oil-30ml-10286196

Sea Buckthorn Oil from The Ordinary. Prepare yourself for an orange face but by god it's worth it.

Girlintheframe · 01/01/2023 09:32

Botox - nothing else comes close to how much fresher I look

Medik8 vit C really makes me glow as does using bioessence squalene and glycolic mask.

AlwaysGinPlease · 01/01/2023 09:33

Another vote for Botox. Worth every single penny!

DuncanBiscuits · 01/01/2023 09:35

Subtle fillers. It’s like a miracle. Paid a fortune, worth every penny.

Also Botox.

janeeyreair · 01/01/2023 09:35

Do people who get Caci think this is a good deal? Caci ultimate 10 facials for 675.00

janeeyreair · 01/01/2023 09:36

I don't know if I should go for the Caci treatments or buy a NU face device.

Ivyonafence · 01/01/2023 09:44

Eye lash tinting and a subtle spray tan

Useronehundredandtwo · 01/01/2023 10:06

I’ll add LVL lash lift, but also another vote for subtle Botox and fillers.

OnePerfectCartwheel · 01/01/2023 10:08

Microbladed eyebrows and lash lifts.

dragonbreaths · 01/01/2023 10:26

COSRX snail 96 and COSRX BHA liquid have really improved my skin appearance

DuncanBiscuits · 01/01/2023 10:34

I wonder if any eyebrow experts can recommend something for me?

My eyebrows are naturally thin and arched, and thanks to being middle-aged, grow quite long (I snip them) and I get the odd white one. Sound a right catch, don’t I?

I get them tinted, as they’re fair, but I would like them thicker. I don’t think micro blading will work, as I don’t have gaps, as such.

Is there anything anyone would recommend to stop me looking like Elizabeth I?

Lovemylittlebear · 01/01/2023 13:24

@DuncanBiscuits check out sheldon Louise on instagram. She works miracles. Mine are quite thick and good shape anyway but they look a bit thicker, darker and tiny bit longer but she has some amazing pics on there of women with quite thin browse. I think I paid £275 x

DuncanBiscuits · 01/01/2023 13:27

Thank you, I’ll check her out!

Youarethesun · 01/01/2023 13:28

Wouldn’t ever have profhilo again. Like op found it expensive and didn’t notice anything.

Botox and a bit of filler, works wonders.

VladmirsPoutine · 01/01/2023 13:29

A bit of filler works wonders!

AgenceGrateau · 01/01/2023 13:31

Botox, lvl, HD brows, small amounts of well placed filler and dermaplaning with a chemical peel.

Sallytobleroney · 01/01/2023 13:34

I don't know if I should go for the Caci treatments or buy a NU face device

My recommendation is to get a foreo bear. Easier and quicker than Nuface (although Nuface also good, I've had both) CACI is better than either of them BUT is a lot of upkeep and expense, so it depends how much time and money you have.

FelicityFlops · 01/01/2023 15:43

Rene Guinot cathiodermie and liftadermie, very visible results that last.
Not cheap, so maybe not people on here want to hear.
