@samandpoppysmummy I'm not joking you look ten years younger in the second picture 😲 you can see how your jawline is so taught now whereas you had a 'ridge' in the before pic exactly like I have now (if you don't mind me saying) and yes your chin is even tighter! I'm very very impressed! Thank you so much for sharing these.

Those of you who do microneedling yourself, which system do you use please?

Why does Botox make your eyes hooded?

it seemed to do this to me, I've really small deep set eyes anyway and the inner corner of one of my eyes seemed affected and my eyes just looked smaller. This is at three different places.

I gave in and did the lashline define thingy. I am amazed. It is fantastic. Cant stop looking in the mirror. Nope didn't hurt. Just a teeny scratch. I cant believe how beautiful it looks.

Ooooh please tell me more- whats this?

Lndnmummy · 26/01/2023 15:27

Its basically semi permanent makeup. So pigment is inserted in the lashline to give the eye more definition. Abit like tightlining which I live but can't do as I have roseace

Does anyone know what I can do with my lips? Lipstick always seems to bleed and look messy these days. Even lipliner liner doesn’t help that much. I’m 58. Not sure if it’s fillers I need? Or something for definition?

Lip blushing worked wonders for mine. I'm seriously considering a lip flip too instead of filler. I'm not keen on the shelf look with filler so hoping this will improve my thin top lip

Where did you have it done? I've been contemplating this. I wear almost no makeup but do tightline my eyes and would love to be able to skip it in the mornings.

NuckingFightmare · 26/01/2023 16:19

@Peridot1 I use the 16 hour lipstick if I'm going out, it doesn't bleed and is sometimes still on in the morning!
Wonder skin does a stain where you paint it on, spray an activator and peel off to reveal a long lasting colour.

Peridot1 · 26/01/2023 16:25

Thanks @NuckingFightmare - I will have a look at those.

I went with this lady after a recommendation on here.instagram.com/jasminediebelius_pmu?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

I am blown away. The pictures don't do her work justice. It looks so subtle (I am a no makeup makeup person too)

Loq · 29/01/2023 14:26

Lip blush is brilliant, I can vouch for that

Chicci1 · 29/01/2023 14:31

I have had a lip flip done twice. I liked it but it lasted such a short time! About five weeks each time.

Cloe70 · 09/09/2023 23:28

Hello 👋

Please can you let me know what your favourite beauty treatment is as a mum.

Just a little market research.

thank you x

AromanticSpices · 09/09/2023 23:37

That's literally what people have been doing for the last couple of hundred posts.
I swear by the BDI, blue dot illusion. It's a temporary sort of tattoo where a blue dot about 3mm wide is placed on the tip of your nose - sounds weird but because people focus on that, everything in your face is accentuated in a flattering way. Works a bit like a Magic Eye, you end up not really seeing the dot.

Last year I had really bad dramatic hair loss after illness . Enough hair each wash to block the plug !
My hair was like candy floss sticking out .
I saw a photo of myself and nearly wept , looked bald ! My hair is pretty grey but I hadn't expexted that
Started on Philip Kingsley Elasticiser twice weekly .
My Hair Doctor supplements
Dyson hairdryer

It has grown pretty well and now the new growth is wavy , I can feel the texture of it has changed .

New add ons - Morrocon oil . Brilliant
For my face SKINN non negioables exfoliant . My skin is so smooth like glass . And its shifting those pesky sebaceous filaments

Revitalash/Revitabrow but its ££
I bought the ELF one but the brush is like a liner brush , I'll keep on.

My Not Worth It-
spray tan. smelled like a biscuit and it faded really patchy

Can anyone recommend a medically qualified person who does botox? London. Scared to try some without an recommendation.

hermioneee · 10/09/2023 08:37

Can anyone recommend a good place for Ultherapy in London?

I've had Morpheus 8/Ultraformer... morpheus 8 hurt like hell & I won't do it again (had it twice). Ultraformer results v subtle, I think I want to try something else.

For skin condition I would absolutely recommend IPL - particularly if you have rosacea, as it completely addressed it for me & had no downtime really.

Soosi · 10/09/2023 12:54

Samandpoppysmummy. Where can I find the pictures of coconutamericano.
Thanks.

Tickledpickle · 17/09/2023 10:28

If anyone hates wearing glasses, I highly recommend laser eye surgery!

Tickledpickle · 17/09/2023 10:29

Not a beauty treatment granted but as someone who hated glasses this had a big impact upon confidence in my looks (and eyesight!)
