Toasties Springing into…Spring?

maybe buy an 8 and a 10 and just return the ones that don't fit? I certainly wouldn't recommend buying on Ebay or similar unless you're certain (and different colours are slightly different sizes annoyingly ). Which colour are you looking at?

I buy my normal size 12 in gabis - that’s my high street size and 95% of the time that works for me in Toast.

In the last moments of the sale I bought the Tala dress as it suddenly appeared in a 12. It’s probably like that sad pink checked dress in JL and been tried on so much it will be a bit tired but it’s an itch I’ve been ignoring for couple of years. Anyway that will arrive tomorrow.

Today the tatersall check dress arrived which I think I’ll keep. We are planning to spend extended periods in the caravan this summer and I hate trekking to the laundry so that’s me well stocked with summer dresses now.

The other last minute buy was the poplin navy shirt dress. Not the ruffle one - the one where the model was balancing something on her head 🙄. Anyway, although it looks like an old fashioned grocer’s coat, I love it. It even rustles! So I’m wearing it on top of a pair of wide leg trousers from M&S and the Toast Sadie blouse. AND it has amazing pockets.

@ilovecherries I remember the picture of the lady balancing something on her head, but not the dress!
The ruffle neck one is poplin too. A bit of a pain to iron.
I have the tattershall dress too. Its lovely but more of a spring summer dress.I did put it on but felt it was too pale and too blue for winter.

..and yet it was part of their Autumn collection! Strange.

I size down in Gabis but I don’t have the cord ones.
My last gasp purchase was the Sadie shirt, I have a similar shape from another sale and knew I liked the shape. It’s an excellent fit and will go with a lot I already have.

No Toast stock in Glasgow. Hasn't been for a few years now, sadly.

The Alix trousers arrived- as I suspected they are quite big but are they ridiculous? They’re v.comfortable

I just tried on the new green checked blouse thingy with red at the top edge, it's absolutely gorgeous, light as a feather. £175! It's just cotton!

Thanks . I didn't post the most flattering photo there bending forward a bit so the dress looks a bit long over the trousers, but its not .. but you get the idea..

Its a scandalous price and really not justified. That is definitely one to wait for the sale. Its nice but not at that price. No way.

I think you could size down. They don't look ridiculous so if they were a sale item, I would keep. They look very nice in the 2nd photo.
