The blue gingham trousers are a lovely fabric, but yes, they wrap around the front so there is an awful lot of fabric. Too much for me, as I am short. They are not an everyday trouser, but could look great for something special.
Sadly, the green Alix were an aberration. They were apparently an old colour, and the Edinburgh shop got sent a few randomly. So they will not be back. They will be coming in brass and in rust, sometime this month although they couldn’t say exactly when.
I also saw the pinkish check shirt that there was some chat about yesterday. I would say the colour is kind of apricot. Not how it looks online, and I am not a fan.
The easy tee that I was after in the brown is not brown at all but orange. Again really different from how it looks online, but I did buy it as it is a lovely shape and I like orange.
I snaffled a pecan stripe cotton linen shirt in my size, it has been sold out online for a while. I actually exchanged my blue one for it as the blue had just sat looking at me since I bought it, the colour was not great for me.
I asked about the price difference between the stripe version and the new plain version, which they had, and is so beautiful in slate. They were as gobsmacked as we were quite frankly, and could only suggest it was down to the fabric, which is a lot softer feeling. I didn’t try it as I know I would want it, but it is just too much.
Think that is all I saw.
