Maje jeans arrived and I'm very happy with them. Given I'm only 5ft 3, they're not cropped on me but come down to just below my ankles which is what I wanted. Planning on wearing them with this green cardie I recently got.

I've never actually brought anything from Zara and I am probably out of their target range size but i love the second blazer so much I'm thinking of taking a punt on it :-) seem to have a good returns policy... Will let you know how I get on!

Hi all, can’t believe we are on volume 90!

I feel like I have no style news as have been stuck at home with covid kids for what feels like forever. I’ve been working from home so leggings and a hoodie have been my sartorial choices. I was meant to have been away this weekend and was so looking forward to dressing up a bit.

I’m going back to my 90s this winter I think. 6th form and early uni was always my favourite style time of my life and when I felt most like me. Before covid hit the house I was wearing long floaty dresses and trainers and cardigans. I can’t remember when I last wore jeans!

I think the uncertainty of life with Covid still scuppering things with no notice is quite draining.

I go through phases of buying, buy too much, then don't buy anything for ages!

I did a wardrobe sort about a year ago and need to do it again, just don't have the motivation!

Loving Mint Velvet at the moment! Love my long gilet and also bought this top which is really nice.

I can't get away from skinny jeans, they just work for me and my wardrobe and because I'm short and small I feel really frumpy in anything else. I did get away from them in the summer with trainers but do like them tucked into chunky boots.

Still not taken the plunge and bought a bag!

I am currently lusting after these rubberised Grensons which I fully appreciate most of you will hate. I don’t NEED them but blimey I really WANT them.

In shopping news I have finally found the right crew neck cashmere sweaters for me from the Men’s section of M&S. A proper high crew neck and longer sleeves. Purchased in the light grey, link here

I tried this Jaegar coat as a warmer alternative to a CdeC one I have had for years but it wasn’t love. The style is a bit too grown up and ‘proper’ for me and I didn’t like the two buttons - I seem to prefer 1 or 3. So that is going back.
But I bought this Hush coat and the hoodie from the styling pic. DH doesn’t know yet that this will be his birthday gift to me.

Next I need to win the lottery so I can buy this

Those coats are both lovely @shopafrolic, but I see what you mean about the first being quite serious. I bought this &Other Stories Coat should arrive by the end of the week, fingers crossed it fits and looks as good as I hope. Deliberated for ages between camel and black.

I'm on the look out for the perfect oversized blazer, neutral small check is what I think think I want to finish off my autumn wardrobe (though by the time I find one it will be winter)
