Been thinking of trying this for a while, as I've felt in need of some style inspiration.
My parcel is due for delivery on 3rd April, but I think I get to know what's in it before that: I've said that I'd like a Spring dress for upcoming pub lunches.
Excited now.

Didn't share any social media details.

Dellabob123 · 21/04/2021 16:39

Now I’m worried. Ive just declined all 10 items in the preview for my second box. Another pair of white supergas, dull shapeless dresses. Boring blouse and own brand top. And some other boring stuff I’ve forgotten. Very nervous and disappointed. I hope they pull it out of the bag on the day!

rothbury · 21/04/2021 19:17

I had my preview - Have elected to have the Liverpool Los Angeles jeans sent to me on the basis of this thread, plus a Crew Dress and a batwing top (can't recall the brand)

The other two items will be a surprise Grin It should all arrive next Friday.

bonfireheart · 21/04/2021 22:21

@Dellabob123 I declined everything in horror on my preview but was pleasantly surprised when my box arrived and I kept two items. The stuff I returned was okay but I had no need for them.

PatchworkElmer · 22/04/2021 17:06

My Lookiero has arrived! Really pleasantly surprised- kept 3 of 5 items and have ordered another for next month.

FourTurnings · 22/04/2021 17:58

You see bonfireheart this is why I’ve declined to have a preview. The items I’ve ended up buying are things I wouldn’t have chosen from a picture online - they are things I’ve tried on and have been pleasantly surprised by.

bonfireheart · 22/04/2021 18:27

I'm going out on Friday, finally an excuse to wear my stitchfix outfit :)

MsAnnFrope · 22/04/2021 18:43

@PatchworkElmer better than stick fix? Go on lead me astray!

TickTockBaby · 22/04/2021 18:49

Haven't RTFT but I've had two stitch fix boxes over the last 6-7 months and I've been really pleased with them.
I kept all the items from the first and half of the second.

I got the tip on here of doing the style questionnaire on the app daily which I believe helped narrow down my 'style'

I was stuck in a style rut and loath shopping so I found it great for me.

FourTurnings · 22/04/2021 19:22

msannfrope I’ve been faithful to Stitchfix but have got Lookierio arriving soon so that I can make a comparison! Might use both if they’re both good.

Dellabob123 · 22/04/2021 19:47

Ooh- What was in your lookierio fix?

ashmts · 22/04/2021 20:00

My first box arrived yesterday. I'm not sure about it tbh, I got two tops, a pair of jeans, a pair of denim shorts and a sweatshirt with puff sleeves. The denim shorts are awful, really mumsy (I'm 30, childfree and requested clothes to suit someone in their 20s/early 30s). The tops are okay, I'd have kept one but it's too big. The jeans are okay but again too big and more than I'd normally pay for jeans. I might keep the sweatshirt and exchange one top for a smaller size. Or I might return the lot, not quite decided. They were also all Stitchfix's own brands which was a bit disappointing. Mauvette, &et and Market and Spruce, can anyone comment on the quality? I wonder if it's because when they ask what you normally spend I chose the lower end of the budget.

To give them credit, they're all styles I'd wear. Just didn't fit quite right. It also hasn't got me out my style rut as they sent a load of basics.

Dellabob123 · 22/04/2021 20:40

That’s interesting, I didn’t know &et was their own brand. I bought the cotton trousers from them and they are lovely. Not impressed with mauvette at all.

PatchworkElmer · 23/04/2021 16:06

@MsAnnFrope I haven’t tried Stitch Fix yet so can’t help with a comparison, sorry 😞

HerMammy · 23/04/2021 19:32

Here’s my stitchfix discount link if anyone would like to use it

So I had my 4th box this week, first box since November and Its been really good actually. I specifically asked for more spring/summer bottoms as I've gone up a size in lockdown. I got:

Capri skinny jeans - Mauvette
Khaki cargo trousers with a nice turn up - Editors cut
Grey midi skirt with pockets (kind of sweatshirt material) - M&S
Black strappy top with palm trees - Sugarhill Brighton
Black ribbed t shirt with laced v neck - &ET

Everything fits great and looks great on, the M&S skirt and Sugarhill tops I would never have tried on, I'm so impressed with the M&S skirt I'm off to find it in other colours, would never have tried a midi skirt before.

So thats 4 boxes, 3 I've kept everything and 1 I've sent everything back.

Here is my code if anyone wants a go.

My lookiero box is here!! It's packaged beautifully. I'm having a horrible at work today so the plan is to feed DD, homework and then a long soak in the bath - then my own fashion show haha, will let you know how they are.

ashmts · 27/04/2021 14:09

So after posting on here the other day that I wasn't sure, I went back and looked again and I ended up keeping the sweatshirt. Thought I may as well since I got the £10 delivery and styling fee off it. I would have exchanged one of the tops for a smaller size but it was out of stock. Also I was talking rubbish about the jeans being expensive, for some reason I thought they were £70 and they were actually £42. So actually, I thought it was really good and I've placed another order to arrive in two weeks. If it gets better the more you use it that'll be good.

£15 off with this link if anyone wants to be a kind soul, since I didn't get a discount off my first box cos I was too keen to order and signed up before I saw the links:

EachandEveryone · 27/04/2021 14:35

My lookeiro box arrived today and I love it. Im keeping the black jeans and two tops. One is a replica of a Whistles top I bought about ten years ago and wore til it fell appart so Im happy about that. Im off to see how much it comes to now. The whole thing was £130 but im sending two things back.

FourTurnings · 27/04/2021 17:32

I cannot wait!! I’ve got my first Lookierio arriving on 5th May and a Stitchfix ( my fourth) arriving on 5th June. Am really excited.

bonfireheart · 27/04/2021 21:30

Far too tired to try my Lookiero stuff out tonight but inside my box was:
V-Neck Black Tshirt, material seems really nice
Long black parka, not usually something I would buy but has a nice shape to it
Jeans from a brand called ONLY
A really lovely pleated midi skirt from L'Olive Verte but it's almost £50
A fitted ribbed striped tshirt

It comes with a card that tells you how to style the items and its useful for someone like me with no style sense.

Will try them on tomorrow but I really really want to like the subscription boxes but think the prices might be too much for me.

Midnightstar76 · 28/04/2021 20:03

Well I’ve gone and ordered another stitch fix box when I said I wouldn’t. Due to £30.00 credit so would be rude not to. I really hope it goes better than my first box. Have given details of what I am after as well so fingers crossed 🤞

Midnightstar76 · 28/04/2021 20:05

Very very tempted to try Lookeiro

Midnightstar76 · 28/04/2021 21:11

Just had a look at my preview e-mail and amazingly like three out of the ten items. Think my next box will definitely be more successful.

Loopy9 · 28/04/2021 21:31

@bonfireheart did you try your items on? How were they?
