Been thinking of trying this for a while, as I've felt in need of some style inspiration.
My parcel is due for delivery on 3rd April, but I think I get to know what's in it before that: I've said that I'd like a Spring dress for upcoming pub lunches.
Excited now.

@Dellabob123 scrap that didn’t buy the tshirt as Part Two charge an extortionate delivery charge for non EU countries Angry the delivery charge cost more than the tshirt itself

@Champagnecharleyismyname you can leave notes for your stylist on what you do and don’t like. For colours there is a long list that you can select if you do or don’t like, even down to animal prints, floral etc etc

WhyDoesItAlways · 15/04/2021 10:43

I've had my box delivered this morning. I got a pair of indigo skinny jeans, a black jumpsuit, black top, blue oversized blouse and olive green patterned blouse.

I absolutely love the black top, it's very flattering and just my style so a definite keeper. Looked great with the jeans they sent but the jeans were a bit big round my bum so not keeping them. Didn't like the other 2 tops at all. The black jumpsuit was fab but the zip is at the back and I can't do it up by myself which is a problem if I need a wee!

So just keeping the 1 item but I love it so much I'm happy with that. I've given very honest feedback so will order again and see what I get.

Here's a £25 code if anyone wants it

Thank you to "Helen" who used my code!
Here's another if anyone else wants £15 off. www.stitchfix.co.uk/invite/s3ws2dpkzj?sod=i&som=c hope that works you may need to copy and paste it

MrsKingfisher · 19/04/2021 10:58

My order arrived, they sent me a black sweatshirt, a grey cardigan a pair of jeans and a navy blue polka dot dress.

None of it I'm keeping, all very dowdy the dress is akin to something the Queen mother would wear. Given I specified no polka dot and i'd like some colour! Not impressed at all.

Dellabob123 · 19/04/2021 11:14

Oh no @MrsKingfisher that’s really disappointing. My preview should be coming soon and I’ve specifically requested no pastels. But nervous now!

drspouse · 19/04/2021 12:05

Mine was as I say pretty good but with a cashmere jumper and some jeans I'm wondering about bringing forward my next one (was in July but maybe to June)!

BessMarvin · 19/04/2021 13:35

@cheeseismydownfall

Does anyone know what they are like with colours? I had my colours done with HoC years back and I still follow it pretty closely. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but I do look so much better when I do (I'm an Autumn) and never buy anything outside of my palette. Black/grey would be an absolute no (look dead).

Can you specify colours to that degree of detail?

I say what season I am. Sometimes what they sent was the right colours. One time it was like they thought I'd said another season entirely.
cheeseismydownfall · 19/04/2021 14:40

That's interesting, thanks bessmarvin.

I’ve found the thumbs up quite addictive...quite enjoy my daily fix!

Champagnecharleyismyname · 19/04/2021 15:46

Disappointed with my fix today.

Two horrible polyester tops. I asked for a jewel coloured top to wear with jeans. Got sent a polyester shirt in granny green and a blue polyester top.

Got a nice Breton top but not worth £32, jeans and a wrap dress. Dress was so thin you could see through it. Jeans were too short.

It's all going back, very disappointed as I kept everything from my first 2 boxes.

EachandEveryone · 19/04/2021 15:50

I’m so gullible thanks to you lot 😀. Here’s my code if anyone else wants to try stitchfix.co.uk/invite/f9xpffr7nz I’m quite excited

Dellabob123 · 19/04/2021 17:06

My second box is due on Saturday and I’m getting a bit nervous now after loving my first one

Tobebythesea · 19/04/2021 17:58

I got my third box today and I loved it all!

I only kept a pair of shoes from my first box and nothing on my second- horrific. I swapped stylists and was a lot more specific and they listened.

tobee · 19/04/2021 18:21

I know this sounds a bit feeble but in what way were you specific @Tobebythesea ? Or anyone else? Words failed me when I tried to be!

PatchworkElmer · 19/04/2021 18:35

I’ve got my first Lookiero coming this week 🤞🤞🤞

Baileystruffle · 19/04/2021 19:53

Thanks to this thread I ordered my first box and it arrived today! I was so excited! I had done the style profile, and style shuffle everyday (am addicted) and asked for some olive mid-length shorts. I did the preview of 10 items, which I think are the top ones suggested by the algorithm, and they had suggested some shorts but too short for me, some olive cropped trousers, some boring black and white tops and 2 dresses, one which was short and one floral one which looked lovely for work. I ticked yes to the floral dress and to 1 pair of trousers, gave feedback to say loads were too short and I preferred more colour, and waited to see what would arrive!
I got...

  1. The lovely midi length floral dress which I love and fit perfectly (but is too dressy for work, its really an evening dress... kept)

2. The olive trousers... fit brilliantly...very light material so decided they'd do nicely instead of shorts...kept
3. A red flowery patterned wrap top, was far too short for me...returned
4. A Joules harbour top, stripey and flowery. I'd never tried one but it looked far better than I thought it would, but returned as I didn't want long sleeved.
5. A plaid shirt... too small... returned.

So all in all I got 2 items I'm really happy with, Success! I think they really listened to my feedback once I'd said I didn't want any short shorts and wanted more colour. I like having the preview so you can give that extra feedback if they get it a bit wrong.

Heres my code if anyone wants £25 off (I'd get £25 off too)

drspouse · 19/04/2021 20:35

I have been checking the style shuffle every so often but I think it's given up on me as I get 100 pairs of plain black or navy trousers... how can I tell the difference?

rothbury · 19/04/2021 20:43

Another Stitchfix lover here. I have a box due next week and am looking out for my preview email with bated breath. It's all the excitement I get these days!! Grin

Here is my £15 off code if anyone wants to use it and try the service for free/with a discount. www.stitchfix.co.uk/invite/ffztmxfkwh?sod=w&g=w&som=c

I will post when the box arrives so I can share my haul with you all!

HerMammy · 19/04/2021 20:49

@PatchworkElmer
I had my first Lookiero last week, it was a week late as it comes from Spain.
Didn’t like anything but will try again.
Stitchfix was spot on though.

54321GoGoGo · 19/04/2021 23:26

Looks like you have to share quite a lot of personal information, looks and activities, likes and dislikes even insta and Pinterest. Has anyone read any small print if all the info will be confidential and not sold on? Just curious as they will have everything, bank details, address, age, work environment etc etc What you look like whether you involve family members as some do partner male/ female and children's boxes.

HerMammy · 20/04/2021 00:46

@54321GoGoGo
I didn’t share my SM, it’s not a necessity.

hopeishere · 20/04/2021 07:48

Yeah I didn't share my SM either.

drspouse · 20/04/2021 07:53

Me neither, didn't even see it as an option. FB is all DCs and feminist rants and Insta is all crafts so they won't get far.

rothbury · 20/04/2021 08:39

Yeah I don't have Insta or Pinterest and don't remember being asked about any social media. Definitely not necessary.

They do ask eleventy billion questions about what you like/dislike in terms of patterns/colours/sleeves/necklines/materials/fit etc but that's the whole point of it Smile
