Been thinking of trying this for a while, as I've felt in need of some style inspiration.
My parcel is due for delivery on 3rd April, but I think I get to know what's in it before that: I've said that I'd like a Spring dress for upcoming pub lunches.
Excited now.

My box was pretty good! Loved the jeans, fine long sleeve white top and fine grey top. Not so keen on £27 organic tshirt, blouse ok. May keep whole box works out at £160 3 items I think are their brand but I did like those a lot. The jeans are perfect.

I would definitely order again.

tobee · 10/04/2021 16:06

I think lookiero and stitch fix are reasonably similar. I've only had a box each so far. Both sent me jeans, both of which fitted well. The stitch fix was their own brand (mauvette) and lookiero were Levi.

They do seem very hit and miss judging by people on here. Presumably they want you to buy stuff so they are going to (should) listen to feed back.

When I was bored, late at night, after a few wines, I tried this other one called Thread. Anyone heard of them? The difference is they don't send you the stuff, it seems more expensive but the stuff they linked me to is more "trendy" and out of my comfort zone. I don't really understand how they work though Confused

Oh yes, another thing, Lookiero said with their box, any returns they'd be sending me a return label by dpd by email because of Covid (?). But they still haven't sent me anything. I emailed but they said it was an error and dpd would send. But they haven't. It's been about 3 weeks now Confused

StitchFix I just had to click a button on their website and got immediate DPD return label emailed to me. I think it was automated.

I filled out the form/quiz on Thread and have been receiving recommendations via email but not sure how it actually works.

FourTurnings · 10/04/2021 17:54

tobee I discovered Thread yesterday my too!!

They operate differently to Stitchfix, don’t they, as they take you right through to the online items and you can buy direct. I do like scrolling through the outfit selections they’ve put together. It’s like looking through a magazine.

I really enjoy Stitchfix. I would say they tend towards safe - I’m not anticipating show-stopping outfits - but it’s a great way of adding to my wardrobe. They really get it right with jeans in particular.

@Smashmallow I've signed up to Lookiero too using your code, thank you. This is what lockdown has done to me:)

Smashmallow · 11/04/2021 08:34

seymoursmyman · 12/04/2021 20:25

Just received my first box. Kept 3 items returning 2.

Code to share if anyone's interested with £25 for you, £25 for me.

Don't know why it's more than other people have been sharing.

FourTurnings · 12/04/2021 20:47

bonfireheart I’ve signed up to Lookierio too...

Loopy9 · 12/04/2021 21:52

Thought I’d posted earlier not sure where it went!
My stitch fix arrived today. I’d declined all clothes shown in the preview as they really weren’t me and then know I had two white trainers coming! Well I got a lovely surprise. 2 tops, a dress and 2 trainers. Love the jumper and supegra trainers the rest is going back. The dress and top were too clingy, lovely but not me and there are only so many white trainers I need! Everything fitted, everything in budget and now I can box up those I don’t want & return with the sticker included. Not disappointed that I o to kept two things. My stylist mentioned Pinterest which I have share with them, so I don’t think they’ve looked at my board! That will be my feedback. Here’s the link to get £15 off your first order www.stitchfix.co.uk/invite/mgk8jsc5gb?sod=i&som=c

drspouse · 13/04/2021 11:18

I got mine today and I'm keeping all of them except for a blouse that's too big and I'm going to see if the next size down is a better fit.
I am particularly impressed with the skinnies/jeggings as I've been trying to find a pair that LOOKS like jeans but FEELS like leggings for years after I lost weight and a much loved FC pair were too big.
DH says I can't wear my white trainers around the DCs which I agree so I'm keeping them for my day off! I think they are the same Superga trainers as you loopy.

bonfireheart · 13/04/2021 13:06

@drspouse those jeans sound great! Do you know what brand they are please?

drspouse · 13/04/2021 13:11

Liverpool Los Angeles I think?
I'm wearing them out for lunch (brrr) and I may need a belt on a future occasion but that's OK.

Dellabob123 · 13/04/2021 13:24

@Loopy9 I like the look of that striped dress- where is it from? Wishful thinking for when it stops raining....

FourTurnings · 13/04/2021 13:52

I received a pair of Liverpool Los Angeles jeans in my last box - as soon as I wore them, people gave me compliments and they feel brilliant.

MsAnnFrope · 13/04/2021 14:08

Argh I got my first box and love 4 out of 5 items. The last item was jeans and I’m super fussy about jeans. These were ok but not perfect. Two tops and two dresses are ideal.
Buuuuut I’m on a boot camp to lose weight. If I do I’ll go from a 12 to a 10 (although two items are medium) do I keep these items or do I send them all back and ask for next size down??

drspouse · 13/04/2021 14:23

The jeans are suffering from the stretch jeans issue of stretching sideways but not vertically (leggings fabric has four way stretch but jeggings tends to be two way) so I am getting the belt out but they are SO comfy.

felineflutter · 13/04/2021 17:36

If anyone needs a code www.stitchfix.co.uk/invite/tm4trz3wbr?sod=a&som=c

I will definitely get another box if you are happy with all the items then it works out ok cost wise I think.

FourTurnings · 13/04/2021 23:14

msannfrope it depends on the items - are they the kind of garments where size is not too crucial e.g. roomy/oversize could work?

MsAnnFrope · 14/04/2021 07:37

Four. Yes drapey stretchy rather than fitted. I think I’ll keep them. Even if I drop a dress size I think they will look good.
And the dresses have pockets!!

Loopy9 · 15/04/2021 08:13

@Dellabob123 the dress is from Part Two. My previous delivery had a gorgeous top from Part Two. I’ve been on their website //www.parttwo.com and just purchased a t short version of that dress!!

cheeseismydownfall · 15/04/2021 08:25

Does anyone know what they are like with colours? I had my colours done with HoC years back and I still follow it pretty closely. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but I do look so much better when I do (I'm an Autumn) and never buy anything outside of my palette. Black/grey would be an absolute no (look dead).

Can you specify colours to that degree of detail?

bonfireheart · 15/04/2021 08:26

Yes you can specify colours. And whether you like plain, patterned, floral, stripes, polka dots etc.
