Been thinking of trying this for a while, as I've felt in need of some style inspiration.
My parcel is due for delivery on 3rd April, but I think I get to know what's in it before that: I've said that I'd like a Spring dress for upcoming pub lunches.
Excited now.

I think you only get the credit once the person using your code actually received their box.

I pushed my delivery to May this quarter as cash is tight and I feel I've actually got plenty of clothing so don't need my box. But this thread is making me miss it.

I've just had my preview and really pleased with it. I liked all the items and they are all reasonably priced (I told them up front that I'm a cheapskate Wink ).

Whether or not they'll look good on me is another matter.

I wish I could have picked more than 5. I like all 10 of the stylist's choices!

Excited for it to arrive now

One thing that puts me off online shopping is returns. But seems easy with stitchfix, you pop what you don't want back into thr box it comes in, tape up and stick on the label they send you and take it to post office/dpd drop off/hermes drop off. Luckily the shop at the end of my street does DPD drop offs so was pretty simple.
I didn't realise I had my stitchbox set to every 3-4 months so next one won't be coming until July!

Thumbs down from me on my first box 👎

One issue is I’m between a 16 and 18 so it’s really hard to know which to go for if I don’t know the brand.
There’s one thing I wouldn’t have minded trying in a larger size but don’t like it enough to faff about with exchanges.

I think I’m just hard to dress due to my funny fat shape ☹️

It also stresses me out a bit that you only have 10 days to return...
I’m disorganised and am used to next and Boden where they don’t really care if you take forever

RuggeryBuggery, I sent back all my first box: like you, I'm between sizes.
Never know if I'm going to need a 10 or a 12.
But all the items in the box were too big, so I've changed my size in my details from 12 to 10.
I'm getting another box next week to try.

My first one is due on the 9th, will report back! Feeling like I’ve lost my sense of style a bit after having a baby. The preview did show that they’d listened to my request for breastfeeding friendly items so that’s a start!

Lockdown has got me obsessed with subscription boxes - started with fruit and veg, then beauty boxes, then Gousto, then smol for laundry and cleaning products and now Stitchfix!! Resisting urge not to sign up to Lookiero!

Mine is arriving on Monday, the preview looked OK but it could be a) badly fitting or b) make me look dead.

I’ve tried Lookiero and stitch fix Lookiero is far better but awful customer services.

On sizing, I am sure I remember them asking me to input what size I was based on specific brands? So on some brands I might be a 16 but others I'm not or don't wear at all. eg No M&S trousers have ever fitted me but Next size 16 are generally good for me so that's what I put on my form. It's not perfect though and I haven't kept most of the trousers they sent, but it does help.

@RuggeryBuggery you can request an extension on the returns. I think it's just a click on their website or, at worst, you use the live chat feature and they do it for you. I've generally found customer service to be quite helpful.

I've just signed up. I'm so hopeless at shopping. I so hope this helps. Though I'm also really fussy. I didn't really like the website style ideas to say if I liked them. I only said yes to one 🤦

@Pittapatta I've said no to so much stuff that was surprised that they bothered sending me a box at all! So I can't really blame the stylist if they don't get it 100% right.

I just received my preview, I haven't chosen any of them. All the pieces are shapeless and not even close to what might suit my body shape. Let's hope what they send will be better now I've declined everything.

I’ve had a few Stitchfix boxes and have kept at least one thing from all of them.

In the box I received today I had:
A Hobbs skirt that was too long on me so is going back. It’s worth noting that the same skirt is currently 20% off direct with Hobbs while Stitchfix wanted full price (£85!) for it. I’ve noticed this a few times with the more high street brands

Two dresses from brands I’m not familiar with. One was a lovely pattern and colour but not a good style on me and the other fit beautifully but I didn’t like the colours or print. Both returned.

A soft grey waterfall cardigan which is lovely but I specially asked for bits for spring/summer and I have far to many cardigans so will return.

A lovely floaty black kimono with a floral print. A definite keeper.

As long as I keep at least 1 item so my £10 fee isn’t wasted I’m happy.

Here’s my code if anyone would like a discount

My 4th stitch fix is on its way!
I’m slightly worried as I rejected all 6 clothing items and one pair of sandals. Said yes to 3 pairs of white trainers!! I’m thinking at least 2 will be retuned.. really hoping this won’t be my duff box as the others have been great.

I’ll share when it arrives!

I think I've said this before but one of the things I like best about Stitchfix is that some of the items I've kept have been the ones I absolutely 100% would have refused if I'd seen them in preview. 2 in particular I thought were AWFUL but on trying on they've become two of my favourite items of clothing. Another item isn't my favourite but I'm pretty sure I would have rejected it if I'd seen it in a preview.

Hi,
Just received my first box. Keeping one item from their own range Mauvette which is a really lovely floral tea dress. It skims in all the right places. Only wish I could wear this more often as it is a posh frock that I would wear for going out for a meal but too nice to dress this down.

The other items just didn’t suit me. I received a dusky pink pair of Liverpool one jeans. They were nice fit but far too pricy and pink is not me.
I got an olive chunky jumper with lattice work on the back. Too mid shaped and not what I am looking for heading into spring.
I got a striped batwing top. This had far to much material going on at the sleeves and did not flatter me. Plus I have a couple of stripey tops already.
I then got these plain blue cropped wide leg pair of what looked like work trousers. I just looked like a complete frump in them but the quality was amazing.
Going to get another box for July and I think I will give lookeiro a go. So thanks for the link @LittleBlueFish Grin

Update returning said dress as just won’t wear it if ever. It is just too nice and dressy. Have decided to cancel any future boxes as realistically quite pricey for me, I am usually a matalan, supermarket own clothes as in my budget. Really good idea though but not for me.

I've just had my preview for my 3rd box. I wasn't wowed but did pick a black wrap dress, jeans and a red striped Breton top.

I kept everything from my last 2 boxes and have worn all items a lot.

I do find they send mostly classic safe items but it is what I wear. It is a fun way of buying clothes.
