Been thinking of trying this for a while, as I've felt in need of some style inspiration.
My parcel is due for delivery on 3rd April, but I think I get to know what's in it before that: I've said that I'd like a Spring dress for upcoming pub lunches.
Excited now.

I’m getting that too - I keep stressing no more white trainers!!! But new stylist seemed a bit more on It so I’m a tiny bit excited again for next box arriving on the 10th.

I do find the style shuffles a tiny bit addictive, but if I too have to dismiss another waterfall cardi or crop sports too I will give up

SpaceOp · 05/05/2021 17:07

I did the style thing on that other service - thread. And it looks like once you've made a few choices, they lump you into a fashion category. I wonder if Stitchfix does the same?

FourTurnings · 05/05/2021 21:48

I’ve received my first Lookierio box. I am really pleased with it. Levi 501 cropped jeans that fit really well, a navy cotton sweater from Esprit (quite fitted), a gorgeous scarf (Atelier?) and a fab t shirt, white with a very cool motif. One item I am sending back - a Whistles t shirt that doesn’t suit me. I’m impressed. Nothing trail-blazing, but stuff I will wear.

Baconking · 07/05/2021 17:33

I received my first stitchfix box today and was really pleasantly surprised. I 'could' have bought it all but the superga shoes were overpriced and one of the tops I liked but not enough to buy.

I've actually ordered my next box for a month's time! 🙈. Can't do too many though. I've just spent more than I'd spend on clothes in 6 months

If anyone wants a £25 code...this is mine available for 48 hours

Hello!
Well received my second box today. If anyone wants to use my referral link here it is . You get £25.00 off which has increased from £15.00
www.stitchfix.co.uk/invite/k3zmkg95fv?pbid=10527847&sod=m&som=c

So I chose three things that looked promising. I was most excited about a floral top but it just did not fit very well around the neckline and was too big.
I received a pair of skinny jeans. I know these are not the fashion but I am keeping them as the fit of them is great and sucks in my tummy. However they were not the same jeans I had picked as were a lighter shade. Just so happens that I am looking for a lighter blue Jean and was not sure about the darker colour I thought they were going to send so win, win.
There was a plain olive t-shirt. That was ok but I want pattern and have similar already.
I got a hideous tie die t-shirt. The fit was okay but reminded me of a pyjama top.
Lastly I received some sandals. Again okay but not my style and expensive for what they are.
Not giving up on stitch fix but going to order another box around July time as a birthday treat.

Midnightstar76 · 08/05/2021 11:44

P.S the referral code is only for 48 hours

It's worth signing up for superga newsletter as they tend to do discounts quite often from my experience

PandoraP · 08/05/2021 14:20

@lockdownalli, I like your box of navy. Are these tops own brand ?

lockdownalli · 08/05/2021 14:41

Two of the tops were own brand - one Mauvette and one Editors cut. The light blue one is an American brand.

The dress is Crew and the jeans are Liverpool Los Angeles.

I have asked for a maxi dress, some white trainers (inspired by you lot!) a silver necklace and some bright coloured tops in next box. I am treating myself to a box towards month end and will feed back my haul.

It makes me so happy to open the box and see what is in there!!

Here's my £15 off code - www.stitchfix.co.uk/invite/ffztmxfkwh?sod=w&g=w&som=c

FourTurnings · 09/05/2021 19:07

lockdownalli same! It’s literally so much fun when that box arrives!! All wrapped up individually in tissue paper 😀

Dellabob123 · 10/05/2021 11:24

I just received my latest stitch fix after changing stylists. I was by pleasantly surprised! The Liverpool los Angeles jeans are girlfriend and beautifully soft...but I’m a lifelong skinny Jean fan. They are soft and unbelievably comfortable. But they look frumpy. But they’re so comfy...argh. The dress I selected is lovely but doesn’t fit well and a dress from mint velvet which I poo poohed is actually lovely on. But....it’s a £119 dress and I’m not sure I love it that much...but it does look lovely.

I got a well fitted navy blazer from whistles...which is gorgeous but too formal for me and a hideous Breton style top. Which is organic cotton but just looked awful on.

The new stylist definitely did a better job and chose pieces with more surprise...but I’m just not sure what to do. I know of I send it the dress back I’ll continue to be on a mission to find the right school run dress and may regret it. It looks lovely with my trainers as well....

bonfireheart · 10/05/2021 11:26

If you think you will get lots of wear out of the dress and it is good quality so will last years then keep it. Cheaper stuff is false economy. I send back a top from Lookiero and regret it because went shopping at the weekend and there's so much horrible stuff in the shops!

Dellabob123 · 10/05/2021 11:46

I know you’re right @bonfireheart...it’s beautiful quality and fits lovely- dressed up or down! I think I’ll keep it along with the unbelievably comfy jeans!!! I just have to accept I’m a little grumpier now anyway...so comfort it is!

Dellabob123 · 10/05/2021 11:47

Frumpier not grumpier

FourTurnings · 10/05/2021 17:51

Dellabob for what it’s worth I think girlfriend/boyfriend/mum jeans are where it’s at, personally. Skinnies are over. (Just my view!) and say yes to the dress 😀

Dellabob123 · 10/05/2021 18:12

You lot are not helping my bank balance! The dress it is then! I’m wondering whether to branch out and try lookiero as well for comparison....are you all sticking with stitch fix?

BlingLoving · 10/05/2021 18:39

Oh, I think girlfriend/mum jeans are definitely the thing now and as a result it doesn't look frumpy at all but cutting edge. Needless to say, there are a number of mums on my school run in this style and they are all the ones who are the more fashionable types! I am definitely planning on trying to get some whenever I next do some actual shopping (or maybe they'll send me some in my next box - due next week!).

And definitely keep the dress. If you love it, you will get a lot of wear out of it.

Baileystruffle · 10/05/2021 18:43

I got my 10 item preview today for my second fix. I had asked for casual dresses and tops to wear to bbqs etc. They put in some lovely dresses but with spaghetti straps which I don't like- to be fair I hadn't originally said that. I picked 1 of the tops, a sleeveless patterned one. Some other bits were in it that I guess I wouldn't mind trying at some point but weren'tt what I was looking for this time so I declined them. Will be interesting to see what other 4 items turn up.

FourTurnings · 10/05/2021 19:28

I’ve now tried Stitchfix and Lookierio - and I really like them both.
I just find the whole process fun and I have got some really nice bits from every box.

ashmts · 10/05/2021 22:12

I find it fun too but I received my second box today and I don't think I'll keep anything. I got a light denim mini skirt (ew? Who's wearing them these days?) and a top that makes me look pregnant cos the front has so much material so they're definitely going back. I also got a tea dress that is nice but it's £45 and viscose and a bit scratchy. Quite primary school teacher/Zooey Deschanel, which I do quite like. Also got a linen jumpsuit in stripy neutrals. It's 100% not my usual style but I liked it on more than I expected to, I just don't know if I'll wear it, it makes me feel like Meryl Streep in Mamma Mia. And finally an £85 black cotton blazer from Whistles, which is great and would probably smarten up a lot of my wardrobe, but it has shoulder pads. If it wasn't for them I'd keep it. So yeah. I'm going to sleep on it but might send them all back. I think this will probably be my last box.

Triffid1 · 13/05/2021 10:35

So my box arrived today (slightly unexpectedly as for some reason I thought it was coming last week). Interestingly, my stylist specifically suggests that I do review the preview they send so I think I might do that. Especially as the one item she sent that really didn't work was the one item that I probably would have rejected in advance. Although, having said that, there's a mauvette skirt which I didn't love on paper and but is actually great and I'm definitely keeping!

I'm really pleased. They also sent a gorgeous blouse from Part Two - I am slightly concerned it should be a bit smaller, but it's definitely a floaty style so hard to tell. A pair of Utility trousers which I love, a jumper that I have rejected because the neck is too high and a "wildcard" piece which is a jumpsuit. I actually loved it but it zips up the back and is a bit small so I'll send it back.

I usually get them every three months but am thinking of bringing my next one forward to July.

Just sent all of my first Stitch Fix box back. The worst was some really nasty Boden cargo pant / chino things with awful elasticated ankles - they looked like the sort of thing my Nanna would wear on a cruise.

To be honest, all of it was very frumpy and the stylist's interpretation of an autumn colour palette was sending a bubblegum pink sweatshirt 'to flatter your skin' - er, make me look like I'm dying of jaundice, more like.

I asked for a change of stylist so hopefully it will work better next month.

FourTurnings · 13/05/2021 17:54

Triffid1 could you describe your Part Two blouse?
