Now I never thought I'd say this, not until my mid 40's at least, but I feel like celebrating the wonders of TOAST! I'm not sure I'm game for the wintry stuff but their summer dresses are just perfect. For years I've longed for the undone, easy linen look but usually end up looking like a sack of potatoes... not this summer my friends!

My dad earlier said I looked "outrageously well sorted" in my new orange linen number - I think he meant well put together, and I've just got the navy on sale on JL. Yipppeeeee!

I tried in the workwear dresses again and I feel like a really cool art teacher in them. 😁 the fabric reminds me of my dad’s boiler suit that he always wore. My husband also surprised me by saying he like it (normally he prefers more feminine figure enhancing clothes 🤷‍♀️ I had it unbuttoned this time with a v neck t shirt under and it was lovely.

I have this coming Monday Railings just hoping that it wont be too small in the bust.. reviews say its large.. I had to get 10 though as it was the biggest in stock, Id usually have a 12 or 14 in Toast dresses

I went back for the Kate Sheridan bag. I have too many handbags but like the look of this size wise and I like a logo free bag. Has anyone got one?

@Countmeout, I hear you re: naked and old! I would never really have considered the Kado ordinarily, but for £45, I thought I would push myself out of my monochrome comfort zone. I have a few of the Toast boy linen t-shirts, which are quite neat through the body so I thought I’d try layering under the dress. Alternatively, I have some Magaret Howell fine cotton ticking shirts in pale blues and greys I could wear over the dress and knot at the waist?

Right, Ikat skirt is a bit big and not very flattering so I think I need to give in at this point and just enjoy my first two purchases, the gorgeous Grace skirt and Fair Isle jumper. V happy to have finally given TOAST a go though, and will be watching eagerly for future sales - especially the knitwear.

Yes @Moominmammaatsea it could work with those underneath. After that suggestion I tried it with a long sleeve T-shirt type top I have and it’s ok ( if I can get over the ‘I’m wearing a pinafore’ look which I think I’m possibly not comfortable with) . For me I think the something over works best, good idea about the shirt. I was about to throw out a blouse in the cafe au lait colour in it - will give it a go.

@slipperyeel I have three of the Kate Sheridan satchels from Toast . I bought the first one about 18 months ago and it has aged very well.

Those boots are lovely (sorry, my memory is failing me in remember whose they were ). I bought some Grenson Nanette boots last winter to make my ankle skimming trousers winter-proof. They were fantastic and along with my Blundstones are now my go-to winter footwear.

I love the Kate Sheridan bags - they look like such soft leather and the colours are perfect. I've been sorely tempted, but already I have a very similar bag and I'm trying not to duplicate. My bag is from M Hulot who do gorgeous logo-free (I can't stand logo bags, either!) leather bags. They have the same kind of quality and long lasting feel that Toast things have. I've got three of their bags now.

I keep checking JL to see if any stock is coming back - I love the idea that we're just circling the stock between posters!

@HieronymusBoschLAPD I had the same thought about ‘our’ sale bargains being recirculated last night as I ordered a just-popped-back-in juniper linen half-sleeve jumper on the JL site; I wondered here who may have tried it before me! And then I began to debate (internally) about whether I would like it if any of my ‘friends’ on the TOAST thread had sampled it and found it wanting. I think I need The World to fully reopen so I can get out more!

Just to add to the handbag discussion, I have a Bleu de Chauffe small satchel bought in a previous year’s Toast sale and I can heartily recommend the quality of leather and workmanship.

That was me, I think. But it had an odd smell, and that was NOT me!

Loads more sale Toast back on the JL site.

JL sale items are vanishing before my eyes! I've been dithering over several dresses on JL and on Toast. Will Toast reductions go down again? I'm tempted to go for an Ume dress, it's at £65 on Toast at the moment, out of stock on JL.

I think you have to be there about 7am.. I looked this morning earlier as I was awake but nothing up.. but later it seems that there was, nothing I wanted but 8am though !
