Lots of people seem to have the Debenham's calendar. Just starting a thread so we can discuss.

I can't wait Grin

Yes, anti-dandruff. Now that you mention it, I don't have dandruff or dry scalp, but I once used my husband's head&shoulders shampoo, and it gave me dandruff Xmas Confused
I hope this one doesn't do the same. It's a pity that they don't make the products for 'all hair types' ...

MoonlightMistletoe · 15/12/2019 10:31

What one is it from Debenhams it seems I have the basic one Grin

Oh dear. Dd is coming home for a few days this week. Maybe I'll get her to try it first (dh doesn't have enough hair and ds who still lives at home is a total fusspot). I'm sure dandruff is a great look for a first year uni student......

@MoonlightMistletoe - It's this one

@whyamidoingthis oh damn that looks lovely! I have got the Debenhams own make one and it's just full of glitter Blush

whyamidoingthis · 15/12/2019 12:22

@MoonlightMistletoe - that's disappointing.

I must say, I'm really enjoying this one (sorry - not trying to rub it in). I also have the glossybox one and the debenham's one is way better and cheaper. It was €50 (half price) if you bought another beauty product so I bought a €3 eye pencil.

Well worth keeping an eye out for next year.

Xmas Grin about your dd & DS!

It was actually only €45 on the day it was released. I think it was around Halloween? It was €90, and half price if you bought another item.
Try and remember that for next year Xmas Smile

whyamidoingthis · 15/12/2019 12:49

It was actually only €45 on the day it was released.

Really? So I was done then. I think I paid €50. Ah well, it's great value regardless. I'm really enjoying it.

OP posts:
AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 15/12/2019 15:11

Exactly. It really is fantastic value.

And you got a €5 gift card in it, so that makes it €45 Xmas Wink

whyamidoingthis · 15/12/2019 15:20

Of course! I'd forgotten about the gift card.

Well today's shampoo made my hair feel like straw!

whyamidoingthis · 15/12/2019 19:22

I'm definitely testing on dd first then.

Cheesymonster · 15/12/2019 20:24

The shampoo worked really well for me today. My hair is very thin, fine and fluffy after washing and today I looked like I’d just been to the hairdresser.

whyamidoingthis · 15/12/2019 21:08

Ok. We have a 50/50 rating on the shampoo. Anyone else used it yet before I try it on my dd?

OP posts:
AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 15/12/2019 21:18

Not yet, I've only just started using a shampoo called 'Colour WOW' that I got in a LookFantastic Easter egg (it's amazing, btw) I don't like mixing shampoos, I think that irritates the scalp.

But it's interesting to see the different results and opinions.

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 16/12/2019 08:42

I didn't have time to look at the eyeshadow this morning. I think it came without a brush?

If so, I'm putting it into my dd's stocking

The little things that bother us 😂

whyamidoingthis · 16/12/2019 08:42

An eyeshadow palette today. Nice nude colours. But I have loads of those colours so I'm not terribly excited. One for dd I think.

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 16/12/2019 08:51

@whyamidoingthis Snap! Xmas Grin

Cheesymonster · 16/12/2019 12:36

I am not keen on the eyeshadows so if anyone would like it for their DD or themselves, I’d be happy to post it to you.

supadupapupascupa · 16/12/2019 15:02

The pigment is good but they are too warm for me. Still it's another brand I don't know and the quality is good

CountryCob · 16/12/2019 18:28

I tried the shampoo and I liked it, I use a lot of conditioner and didn’t notice dryness...

whyamidoingthis · 16/12/2019 19:05

So we're now 2:1 in favour of the shampoo. One more positive one and I'll try it myself without using dd as a guinea pig.

OP posts:
whyamidoingthis · 17/12/2019 09:05

Today is definitely a wtf one. A very, very mini nail top coat. It looks really mangey. Ah well, it's the only one so far that I have been really disappointed with.

OP posts:
AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 17/12/2019 10:08

Yes, today's has been the most disappointing one!

whyamidoingthis · 17/12/2019 10:11

My dd isn't even interested in taking it. I obviously need to find a small child and donate it to them along with a tub of glitter for decent, sparkly nails.

Now, who do I hate enough to do that to......
