Lots of people seem to have the Debenham's calendar. Just starting a thread so we can discuss.

I can't wait

A handmade soap today. It smells lovely.

I like the soap

I like the soap, smells quite masculine, and lathers nicely. And the blush is lovely and subtle.

I found the Clinique stuff left my face a bit flakey and dry, but I think I could get away with it in summer.

An Irish soap. Nice!

I've just been to see what other scents Debenhams carry for the handmade soap company, and it appears they don't actually sell their bar soaps?!?

They seem to sell everything from the Handmade Soap Company except their soap - candles, body lotion, conditioners etc. Maybe they're trying it out to see what the feedback is?

I was quite excited by the soap. We've just switched at home away from liquid back to bars to do our bit to reduce plastic. We've just finished a fully renovated bathroom and now we have some new soap to go in it :-)

A Murad cleanser today. I'm not familiar with the brand. It's one that you put on a damp face and then rinse off, which I'm not a major fan of. I prefer one that you just wipe off.

Maybe we could pat our faces with facial pads to dampen them, rather than splashing

Or keep it to use in the shower?

I’ve been using this cleanser for a while and I love it. It smells gorgeous and makes my skin feel really clean and fresh.

Ok this is me being dim but why does your hair get wet when you wet your face? I always cleanse face with water (and a cleanser of course!) but I use a flannel or sponge to wet the face and then remove the cleanser so no problem.

It's just the edges of my hair that get wet but I also usually end up with water up my sleeve.

Basically, I'm a klutz. I also assumed your face needs to be pretty wet so I just splash water on. I'll try the flannel

But does it not get down your neck and chest @Ponks? I clearly being doing it wrong this whole time
running the tap and splashing my face

What do we think of today's one? I love it so far, although my mascara is completely dried out.

Haha no @AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet I just wet the sponge / flannel (prefer a sponge as grew up using one for the face) and squeeze a bit so it's not sopping wet. 😁

Haven't opened mine yet today as was rushing this morning. I'm assuming a mascara based on @AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet's post?
