whyamidoingthis · 30/11/2019 21:48

Lots of people seem to have the Debenham's calendar. Just starting a thread so we can discuss.

I can't wait Grin

A cleanser is always useful. I've never heard of the brand but will give it a go.

Anyone know how you're supposed to use it as if there area instructions, I can't read them Smile

I'm assuming a wet face, gently spread some on your hands and rub in then rinse off - potentially with a muslin cloth? (like you I'm flummoxed too!)

champagneandfromage50 · 05/12/2019 09:01

I bought this calendar for my DD. Waited until it went half price. She is delighted so far and it is far better than the amazon beauty one we got last year

whyamidoingthis · 05/12/2019 09:08

@CottonHeadedNinyMuggins - I reckon you're right. I was thinking dry face and wipe off but it seems a bit sticky for that.

I could always use googleGrin

"Gently massage a small amount into damp skin for 30 to 60 seconds. Rinse and pat dry. Use morning and evening"

whyamidoingthis · 05/12/2019 09:18

Here we go - Gently massage a "size of a 20 pence coin" amount onto a lightly damp face, and massage for 30-60 seconds. Rinse and pat dry. Use morning and evening. Follow with appropriate treatment and moisturiser.

Bit contradictory as they claim in the description it cleanses, tones and moisturises so you'd use it to save time and then in the instructions they tell you to follow with treatment and moisturiser. Mind you, I'd do that anyway.

@ supadupapupascupa - you bet me to it Grin

I’ve had this before and it’s ok but I don’t love it. One for the swaps pile I think

YouWereRight · 05/12/2019 18:11

My advent calendar arrived today, I'm pleased so far. Looking forward to trying all the bits.

I definitely thought the ciate primer was for nails till I read the back.

CottonHeadedNinyMuggins · 06/12/2019 08:23

Happy with todays as the last sample of this (from an advent calendar) I got was the size of the top of your fingernail on your little finger down to the knuckle of it in a little silver tube . It was absolutely tiny and no real evaluating use.

This size is much better! :) Looking forward to trying this one.

Filorga Time Filler - Absolute wrinkles smoothing cream.15ml

whyamidoingthis · 06/12/2019 08:29

I'm pleased with this too, even if no product known to mankind could smooth out my wrinkles Grin

Never used Filorga Time Filler but have read good reviews....will give this & the philosophy cleanser a go today.....

TattiePants · 06/12/2019 12:41

I've been using the Filorga Time Filler eye cream for a while and I really like it so looking forward to trying this.

Chewbecca · 06/12/2019 13:05

I was just observing last night how my forehead wrinkles were looking far deeper than I swear they were last week so today's offering is very timely & I will be thrilled if it works. Will try tonight, going out for dinner.

KeithPartridge · 06/12/2019 14:15

The Filorga time filler is an amazing product. I was blown away when I first used it as a sample and now buy the full size.

Cheesymonster · 07/12/2019 08:43

Ooh today’s is exciting!

whyamidoingthis · 07/12/2019 09:11

Yes. It's a Nars blusher. Colour looks really good for me too.

Very pleased so far. It's much better than last year's one, the products are much bigger. I think it's €10 more expensive, but I prefer paying €10 extra for bigger sizes.

CottonHeadedNinyMuggins · 07/12/2019 09:48

My friend said it was really good - I hadn't used NARS before (but had heard of them). Haven't tried it yet as still sat on my bed watching youtube 90's Christmas adverts in pj's with a coffee whilst opening advent calendars Grin

NARS Orgasm blush - 3.5g

I8toys · 07/12/2019 13:48

Never tried Nars before so excited to use it.

TattiePants · 07/12/2019 15:52

I’ve used the full sized version for the last 15 years so this is a great handbag size.

whyamidoingthis · 08/12/2019 09:29

A 3 stage face mask today. Interesting idea. Stage 1 is a cleanser, then the mask for stage 2 and finally a serum.

I'm looking forward to trying this, a lovely proper pampering session... Going to have a posh bath tonight and do it alongside a hair mask (in prep of having a good few inches cut off on Tuesday 🙄🤣 might as well make the most of it for a couple of days hey? 😂)

missmeg3leg · 08/12/2019 18:39

Used Nars blusher today, impressed!.....good colour that suits me & it smells nice 👍 will keep todays facemask for a chillout on day off in the week....prefer a full mask (rather than the little patches earlier in the week).....anyone used the mask today?

Cheesymonster · 08/12/2019 18:45

I used today’s mask. It’s lovely having the three steps. I did not like the little patches, I kept dropping them!
